The "health of the mother" is a phony issue. That can mean anything. Now, the life of the mother can be defined definitively.

No one is pro-abortion unless they are a psychopath. Abortion is a very crude, sad form of birth control, and most women take the decision very seriously. One study showed 95% of the women who had an abortion felt they made the right decision. I agree we must make it as infrequent as possible without taking away the woman's right to control her body. That can be done with access to reliable birth control for all women. Outlawing it will not stop it, just make it less safe for those without money and just inconvenience those with.

(It seems Evangelicals make up almost half of the Protestant abortions)
If one is pro choice they need to comfortable with that choice being abortion in every case for any reason.
