OMGAWD! Don't tell me you're so old you think women have less of a sex drive than men !!! HILARIOUS!!!! OH, please, even YOU can't be that....er, behind the times!!! Tooo bad you know so LITTLE about women that you don't know that sex drives vary from person to person....MYGAWD , Your attitude is from the Fake Fifties!!!
Who said it's easy ?? Are you dreaming again? And what TF would it have to do with abortion????? Why not women do as they damn please?...just like men Why does it bother you that women can do what they choose to do??? And do it without consulting YOU ...LOLOL...
Fing absolutely not..... What TF has that got to do with women retaining the right to bodily autonomy? YOU will just have to face the fact that YOU can't control any woman.... EVER!
Then that kind of proves that childcare is definitely not the main issue. I don't want that to be used as a red herring.
It doesn't...when did it.... FoxHastings said: ↑ Why does it bother you that women can do what they choose to do???
Isn't "bodily autonomy" mostly a made up concept, cut and fit by your side just for the abortion issue? There seems to be little problem infringing on bodily autonomy in all sorts of other countless ways. (We have had other threads on this) The real issue is you think women should get abortions, not that you are truly that concerned about their bodily autonomy.
I do not compromise with that which is wrong or evil. If anything, abortion should be "bumped" up. I do not give a damn about "society". It is the individual that is the standard and if "Jessica" wants an abortion, she is better off having an abortion. Abortion is a moral right.
Back to hocus-pocus science, I see. Women do have sex drives just as strong as men. Excuses are for when one has done wrong, she needs no excuses for aborting.
You don't truly believe that's always the case, do you? You can find all sorts of stories of women who have regrets, or whose life has gone down hill after they made the wrong choice and they became an emotional train wreck.
Great idea. You can open your own "behave like me" school. Or, you can recruit people to go to your church, where you have some class in the way your denomination thinks people should run their lives. I've never opposed that. I'm not so sure about your "turn the other way around for your boyfriend", but whatever works for you!
I fully do believe that. Why wouldn't they? Now, of course, level of sex drive can vary from individual to individual, but on a broader, "gender level", no. No difference. For a long time, women were shamed into hide it and it was taught that the ideal was to be a virgin who covers her head and ankles, but that was just faith doing what it does best -- Evade reality and restrict happiness. Go to a bar or a club and you will observe some pretty straighforward women, I promise. If anything, women probably enjoy sex more considering how orgasms differ between the gemders. Why wouldn't they want that?
Do you really truly feel this? If you did some soul-searching, and came to the conclusion that what you had supported before was actually wrong/evil, would you really do a 180 on this issue ?
Wow, for a few posts now you seem to be REALLY out of it wrt sex in our culture. Safe sex refers to STDs. And, AGAIN, there are no methods of birth control short of surgical that don't have a failure rate. You HAVE TO RECOGNIZE that or you just aren't going to get it.
You cannot judge someone before knowing the reasons for their actions. Sex in itself is not bad. Abortion is not bad either.
Sex that can result in needing an unnatural surgical procedure where your birth canal is forced open and your intimate female parts are scraped out, I would not consider "safe". Not to mention the emotional toll and drastically increased risk of suicide.
ABSOLUTELY NOT. What makes you think I would?? I'm more than willing to support methods of making it easier for a woman to decide to carry a child to term. Those features actually help ALL prospective mothers! They include ideas such as assurance of health care, child care, education, etc., etc. We can find these ideas by examining the reasons women choose to abort. But, that isn't a tradeoff for turning over the abortion decision to the government. Not even CLOSE. It's the woman's body. It's HER decision. Period.
I have introspected a lot. Not on this issue in particular, but rather on my own life and one of the things I have changed my opinion on due to that is abortion. I have already written a post about that and am not going to repeat it. It is back there somewhere.
