Personally I was calling it a coup long before the 26th of April. Trump is right on in this statement. He was slow....but worth waiting on!

Mueller left the matter up to Congress.

“The conclusion that Congress may apply the obstruction laws to the President's corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law,” Mueller said in his report.

Barr, in his appearances before Congress, has not mentioned that. Barr said Mueller left it up to him. That's another lie Barr has told as he tries to protect Trump.

And who do you think could run the country better and avoid all the handwringing lefties that seem to be having issues over the last two and one-half years?

On the heels of the Helsinki summit where the imperial President bowed to the Russian dictator, Trump did it again today.

At Helsinki, Trump, in a stunning rebuke of the US intelligence community, declined to endorse the US government's assessment that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election, saying he doesn't "see any reason why" Russia would be responsible.

"I have great confidence in my intelligence people, but I will tell you that President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial today," Trump said during a joint news conference on July 16, 2018. The world was literally stunned by the President's remark.

Trump said he and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the end of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election during a lengthy phone call Friday but said he did not raise concerns about the possibility of Russian interference to come in the 2020 contest.

Mueller found that Russia interfered in our 2016 election “in sweeping and systematic fashion.”

When asked repeatedly whether he raised the issue of election interference or warned Putin not to do it again, Trump said, “We didn’t discuss that. Really, we didn’t discuss it.”

Coming from the President of the United States, that statement is truly remarkable.

So is this. when discussing the alleged criminal conspiracy between Russia and Trump’s campaign, the two imperial leaders actually joked about it.

“We discussed it. He actually sort of smiled when he said something to the effect that it started off as a mountain and it ended up being a mouse,” Trump said. “But he knew that, because he knew there was no collusion whatsoever.”

The two leaders could not see each other during the call.

Many strongly suspect that Trump is being extorted by the Russian leader. That would explain his fear of Putin. It would also explain Trump's meek and docile approach to the Russian dictator.

This thread appears to ramble over a large variety of topics all highlighted by the fact you are unhappy with President Trump. Woody would we a better choice for President?

Barr is in charge. What Mueller said is irrelevant.

That is the nature of Trump's incompetence. Over time his idiocy piles up.

Mueller spent nearly two years investigating the Russian interference. Barr has spent a few weeks.

It has become extremely obvious that Barr is trying to protect Trump, rather than act like an attorney general, a prosecutor. Barr acts more like a defense attorney.

Barr has repeatedly lied to Congress.

Mueller is a Republican who tried desperately to be fair in his report.

    Who is more credible?

Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., on Friday sent a letter to the Department of Justice’s inspector general demanding he investigates whether the White House had urged Attorney General William Barr to investigate President Trump’s political opponents.

“In response to my questions during the [Senate Judiciary] hearing, Attorney General Barr proved unable or unwilling to state whether he had been directed to open investigations at the request or suggestion of the President or other White House officials -- an alarming response that strikes at the very heart of the rule of law and threatens to undermine the longstanding independence of the Justice Department,” she said in a letter to Inspector General Michael Horowitz.

“I request that the Office of the Inspector General investigate whether the Attorney General has received or acted upon such improper requests,” she said.

These the only reactions from Trump's fans, and they completely avoided the post.

That is absolutely pathetic. Trump fans remain loyal, but they have no idea why, they can't defend Trump, and they avoid talking about Trump.

This is proven over an over again in various threads. How can one stay loyal to a man they can't support? Is it an intelligence issue? I don't know. I really don't.

You mean Mueller since it was his team that redacted the report. It would not be surprising that most of the classified information redacted (now available to the House intelligence committee that they refuse to read) would be about any of the investigation to do with foreign intelligence matters.

The dem clown show wants the classified information given to all of congress and also the grand jury information, which by law they have no right to unless decided on by a court, given to all of congress. Since Mueller made no charges it is highly unlikely a court would allow that.

Barr is only nominally "grovelling" in order to continue doing exactly what he wants to do. Protect the GOP "brand"...and continue rolling back regulations and packing the Courts.

He did the same thing in the early 90s regarding the Iran Contra affair. It's who he is

    Nope.

Barr ignored the minimal redactions Mueller provided and substituted his own...to aid Trump shape the narrative

    GEEZ!

It is no wonder Trump's fans can't support him. They have no idea what is going on. Wow! The 4th grader next door knows Barr is responsible for the redactions.
