When legal remedies failed plans were hatched to subvert the system.

It’s been dribbling out for months. There was planning, Administration involvement, GOP involvement at local, state, federal levels, Military involvement (Army), and it appears our biggest obstacle is disbelief—denial—that something so heinous could possibly happen in this country. Facing up to our shortcomings is not something we do well especially when it involves our so-called “elites”.

Every one involved needs to be held to account not just the “little guys”.

On 1/6, the overall 'riot' was due, ultimately, to Trump's continuous incendiary acts, comments, mentions, speeches, on 1/6, and back covering over a period of many months, of which the predominant message was 'democrats stole the election' and that lie began before the first ballot was cast, inculcated in the minds and hearts of his follows long and hard, to such an extent, that it caused a welling up of what can rightfully be characterized as a juggernaut of rage, erupting in volcanic fashion on 1/6, resulting in several deaths and millions of worth of property damaged, some property stolen, and trespassing of the offices of congresspersons and senators and the terrorizing of persons thereby, and the delay of several hours of the constitutional proceedings.

The mob quickly overwhelmed law enforcement and scaled walls, smashed through barricades, and shattered windows to gain access to the interior of the Capitol. Id. at 24–25. As rioters poured into the building, members of the House and Senate, as well as Vice President Pence, were hurriedly evacuated from the House and Senate chambers. Even with reinforcements from the D.C. National Guard, the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, Virginia State Troopers, the Department of Homeland Security, and the FBI, Capitol Police were not able to regain control of the building and establish a security perimeter for hours. Capitol Attack Senate Report at 26. The Joint Session reconvened late that night. It was not until 3:42 a.m. on January 7th that Congress officially certified Joseph Biden as the winner of the 2020 presidential election. Id. The events of January 6, 2021 marked the most significant assault on the Capitol since the War of 1812.4 The building was desecrated, blood was shed, and several individuals lost their lives. See Capitol Attack Senate Report at 27–29. Approximately 140 law enforcement officers were injured, and one officer who had been attacked died the next day. Id. at 29. Now, I ask you, from what wellspring of hellish rhetoric do the acts of 1/6 draw their inspiration?

There is only one inescapable, incontrovertible, conclusion, and that is it comes from Donald Trump.

Therefore, Trump and his minions share at least 50% responsibility. But, since his flock were merely duped instruments of his grandiose ire, given the power of the presidency, I suggest 100%.

What cause 1/6?

The democrats rigging of our system.

They pushed massive mail in voting in states that had never done it before. In many of those states the democrats removed protections ranging from ballot harvesting to removal of voter id to removal of signature verification as a means to disqualify a vote. They took away the ability to identify over voting in districts by creating voting supercenters for mail in ballots. They blocked poll watchers from certain precincts, they had massive ballot dumps of absurdly high rates for one candidate over the other.

All of which would have been okay because we could have investigated it. But the democrats fought tooth and nail to stop every attempt at investigation of their votes, ESPECIALLY in regards to a signature verification audit which is the ONLY method we have of identifying fraudulent ballots introduced into the count.

That’s why 1/6 happened.

They have evidence of calls from the WH to the Willard and from the Willard to militia groups on the 5th and during the chaos on the 6th. Also calls from WH to House and Senate Chambers and visa versa.

There was communication. Expressly what the communication was is what they’re attempting to find out.

We’ve got evidence of plans, coordination, and obviously the violence that occurred. We know people within the WH, Senate, House, and militias were involved.

It wasn’t spontaneous.

The question is, do we have the will to confront it? Or is it going to be the same old same old, where we punish the pawns and sweep the actual rot under the rug? Let’s hope not.
