I thought anyone who died covid19 positive was automatically deemed a covid virus death. Why should this case be any different?
Honestly, we don't know what actually caused his death, do we? But I am pretty sure if that cop had not forced George to lay on his face with a knee on his neck for 8 minutes, George would be alive today.
If only we had medically trained people who could examine dead bodies to determine cause of death. If only....
Well yeah, but was there another medical issue that was a contributing factor also? But I get your point, in the end, the cop was responsible for George's death.
As unpopular as this is to state but ultimately Floyd caused his own death. Needs to be some level of PERSONAL responsibility here. Bad cop, yup no doubt but he didn't single Floyd out of thin air.
I disagree whole heartedley. You are advocating throwing the baby out with the bathwater. If you eliminate the unions, what makes you think anyone would want to become a police officer in a major metropolitan city where their voice is silenced? You hate unions, okay, fine....don't join one or enter a field that requires one, but each and everytime that unions are disbanded the corruption does not go away, it only magnifies it and shifts the burden to another part of the system.
I'm actually curious as to whether it actually was counterfeit and whether the cops examined it. Still doesn't excuse the murder however
No but were they taking him into custody or just trying to put him in the car for questioning? I guess the real question would be does anyone give a crap anymore? The cops lawyers might I suppose.
So, do you suppose that the union is a criminal enterprise then? If they are supporting their members, does that transcend also to aiding and abetting?
Seems that all it takes is for a person to appear on that bad cops radar, and you too can be brutalized. I'm sure that cop abused a lot of people like that in the past, and he got away with it. All it took was a person with preexisting conditions which made him especially vulnerable to this cops abuse, and we have a dead man.
The contact had nothing to do with that cop's radar, it was passing counterfeit money that got them together.
What? The dispatcher's call that sent that cop to the scene is where George ended up on that cops radar. Don't try to be cute about this.
The so called "bad guy" was no longer a threat, he was laying on his face, completely under the control of the police. He was no longer a "bad guy" at that point, he was a passively subdued, cuffed prisoner, under the charge of that police officer.
