I didn't get any presents for Christmas but I never sent anybody anything either, so it cuts both ways.. This is me in the high-qual waxed jacket I bought myself for £60 (80 USD) to suit my macho Rambo/Vin Diesel/Bruce Willis self- image, the 'waxed' bit means the cloth is impregnated with wax for waterproofing- PS- I was going to put those pics on a dating site but most women seem to prefer soppy types who they can boss about, so I'd better use this wimpy one instead-
$ from my kids, gift cards from a couple friends and a box of yummy chocolate from 2 grandchildren. My kids have been giving me cash for my birthdays and Xmas for some yrs now b/c there's nothing I need. In fact, I give stuff to them.......works for me!
You know I bought my husband much more than that but I know what he got me came from his heart and what's more important is his LOVE.I love him so much and I feel like God gives me the best present everyday when I wake up in my babies arms.
BTW, like I said earlier, I never sent presents to anybody. In the past I used to send £100 (121 US dollars) to each of my sisters, nieces and nephews at Christmas and birthdays, but I rarely got a "thank you" back, so I stopped doing it. What a bunch of flakes..
I don't exchange gifts with most of my family. We've agreed that we wouldn't do it. It sucks because you don't want to leave anyone out but you really don't have enough money to buy something for every single person. I only exchange gifts with my immediate family members and my grandmother. I go to my aunt's for dinner, so I will usually just make some sugar cookies for the kids and bring my auntie a fruit basket.
No nothing, just a couple of cards, so I sent some rude e-mail christmas cards in return as a token response..
