Try not to project too much, you could be in for disappointment. Kansas is the first domino.

No. The pro choice people saw through the lies and spin of the pro-birth people. People knew what they were voting for.
I live right across the state line from Kansas, so we were swamped with B.S. pro-birth ads in the weeks leading up to the election. Nothing was truthful in their ads. Nothing.

So are you saying it was confusing, or wasn't confusing, or are you suggesting it was confusing but it didn't confuse anybody...?

There is also the rights of the woman versus the rights of the unborn.

The right of the woman to not be pregnant overrides any rights the fetus has.

But does it override both the fetus and the state?

What I am saying is that the Pro-Birth people lied through their teeth in their ads. Nothing truthful in their ads. They were stating false information. The amendment was worded to make it appear to be different than what it meant.
Their plan was for this amendment to pass, then the Republican legislator would be free to pass any laws they wanted to make abortion illegal, as in Missouri. The pro-birth people failed because the people at large were much smarter than the pro-birth crowd envisioned.
Currently Missouri has the most restrictive abortion laws in the nation.

The state has no business regulating woman's reproductive organs like they are livestock. This is what the pro-birth people are trying to do. They are taking away control from women and giving it to religious fanatics. Women have a Right to all their organs, just like men do.
