You know you are right. They don't have common sense and their position is hypocritical. That is why I bring up late term abortion so much, they hate it. They maintain...its a woman's right...her body, butt out. But then they turn around and say that wait.......viability might matter. They can't agree when the unborn is viable..some don't care, they guess. But for some reason they flip flop and then deny women the right to their bodies. Hypocritical...totally. Abortion is easily debated without bringing up God. Like you said...they bring religion into it because they don't want science brought up. We all know what science says...that life starts at conception. They don't like that. By your way of thinking you shouldn't even be here posting anyway .. if the law was as you stated you would have been tried for murder and as so many pro-lifers want, executed for your crime .. how does that feel. you can try to put words into my mouth as much as you like, all it does is make you look a fool .. find one place where I have said I support abortion fo the whole nine months. I have consistantly said that in my opinion the 24 week limit is about right, I have also said that if science progresses to the point where a 16 week old fetus could survive on a regualr basis then I would support the reduction in that 24 week limit. If pro-lifers actually stopped and did something about how to tackle the issues after the fetus is born then perhaps you would get more support .. but no all you care about is being able to pat yourselves on the back for neing so moral. - - - Updated - - - Lets debate it on science and law .. with no mention of religion or morality.
Do you actually read most of the post from pro-lifers here? The majority of pro-lifers say abortion is a sin, sin is something associated with religion, religion is associated with the bible .. so really what the bible says about abortion is very relevant. By them trying to use their religion, their bible as evidence that abortion is wrong is just plain lying.
When they bring up God I just dismiss it because they should know full well that not everyone believes in their particular deity or deities of choice.
Yeah and? What about those of us who live without the religious indoctrination? Last time I looked the US is secular.
Well, you don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about the fetus, so why would you care anything about what the bible has to say?
