It depends on how you define a civil war. Since the far right and the far left are just about everywhere, and not really just in specific areas, it would be hard for one area to fight another area. It basically boils down to rural areas and suburbs are more right and large cities are more left. But, there really are no clear lines of territory as there was in the North fighting the South. For example, even the states of California and New York have probably more red counties than they have blue counties and in the deep red states, the large cities are actually pure blue. Your normal definition of a civil war would be hard to apply. A war would have to be fought with no boundaries involved, which is kind of what is happening already. Both sides fight for the democracy of winner takes all the spoils. Whatever side can muster up 50.1% to the other sides 49.9%, attempts to claim a mandate to cram their values down the 100%.

 

As long as you refuse to list any SPECIFIC issues you have, refuse to discuss them, and refer, childishly, only to "bovine excrement".... you do not appear to want to engage in any adult conversation. Until you list what issues you have difficulty with and stop using immature phrases like "bovine excrement"... I'll simply wait for you to identify the issues you have a problem with.

You're right, Te... there won't be another civil war.

The whole issue of freedom for citizens in their individual states, directly addressed in no uncertain terms in the 10th Amendment to the Constitution, was obliterated during the first civil war.

Next, the whole issue of a self-supporting, self-responsible citizenry with the freedom to succeed or fail on the basis of MERIT in a free-market society was obliterated during the second civil war which began under the Obama regime. Civil War is almost impossible. It takes a functioning society to keep Apaches and F-16's flying, armies supplied with sophisticated ammunition like Javelin and Tow, and communications systems up and running. It would be a "Civil War" waged on the level of the last one. What IS possible is total chaos. Think of the riots in Minneapolis and Kenosha. Now multiply that by hundreds of cities. Hunger, homelessness... no meaningful medical care because of a lack of power and maintenance. That CHAOS will create a wasteland out of which will appear something new. And whether its a totally disorganized Medieval Model, a regionally based warlord structure, a national socialist distatorship, or living under the heel of a foreign invader... whatever ensues... won't be pretty.
