    1) The Talmud is the official Jewish interpretation of the Old testament with opinions and statements concerning what the Rabbi of 300AD insist was the meaning their Bible.
It as contains commentary on Judaism, in general and specific, to the extent that it serves to explain what the Bible means and how it is to be understood by Jews.

In a way, it parallels the purpose of the Koran which claims to explain both the Old Testament and the New , and sum up them up with Islam.

    2) The Kabbalah means Tradition but it is esoteric in that it is "spiritual" or mysticism.
It pertains to a number of sub-division, one of which is the Gematria.
This part of the Kabbalah was once used to keep the scribes from making errors as the copied new bibles from the older ones they used as the master.

    3) Another part of the Kabbalah pertained to the use of the hand as a nemonic memory system for reading out the Torah from memory.
Then are are supposedly secret ways that the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet can be used to reveal prophecies and insights.

    4) Kabbalah also refers to a extensive collection of writings which started to appear around 1200AD, alluding to spiritual interactions.
