    The men who founded this country aren't prophets or have any sort of divine knowledge. They are just people from the 1700s with opinions like us, some of them right and some wrong. Something isn't right just because John Adams believed it.

    If I thought that, I'd have said so. If I'm "suggesting" anything, it's that a ConCon makes about as much sense as going out buy a Samurai sword to peel a potato when there's a potato peeler right in front of you.

    Sorry, I haven't. You *still* haven't answered why slaves rebel if they have no innate, natural, Creator-given rights. Until you can do that you haven't refuted anything.

    No, the Founders did not possess "divine knowledge."

    But I do respect them enormously.

    Some people nowadays seem to think that they are passé, and can therefore be easily dismissed...

    When you say might makes right it *does* put you in the same club as Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Castro, Pol Pot, Idi Amin, etc.

    If you don't like that then change the club you belong to.

    It's up to *YOU* to change, not anyone else!

    What makes them think they have any right to live if they have no innate rights? If all their rights come from man and man gives them no rights then where does the ideas of having a right to live come from?

    The US Constitution--which is predicated upon natural rights--guarantees the right to be free of government intrusion.

    And for the government to commandeer one's house, in order to station troops there, would certainly be a violation of this.

    A lawyer is associated with the right to self-defense. Self-defense does *not* always involve a physical fight!

    And not having government troops quartered in your house has to do with your natural right to property. Government quartering troops in your home *is* stealing your property!
