    Another debunked talking point. Did partisans stand a chance against a Tiger tank? A Stuka? I doubt very seriously that is what most think AR's will be used for. More likely will be protecting your family from civil unrest. The Korean shop owners found that out.

    If someone's coming for your guns it means a law has been passed. Conform or, being armed and criminal and resisting, which is what you promote above, you'll face the state, and we all know how domestically militarised that's become.

    SInce 1982, pistols have been involved in 2/3 of mass shootings. Rifles in about 1/4, per the Mother Jones mass shooting database.

    I believe it will happen. No war necessary. Guns will go as the interest in them goes as the need and desire for them fades. Young folks are becoming less interested in guns. Ask anyone under 30, hell 35 what they would rather have. A gun or a smart phone? We all know the answer. Out with the old and in with the new.

    "Mass shootings" covers more than just school shootings, and more than just the last year.

    Opposing "solutions" that will accomplish nothing other than make it more difficult for the law abiding to exercise their rights is not a 'perfect solution' fallacy.

    Where in the constitution does it say that the government isn't allowed to regulate, say, the types of firearms allowed for use by civilians. The second amendment literally says that the government isn't allowed to ban guns. That is the only thing that is actually prevents. It protects the right to bear arms in a general sense. It doesn't protect the right to bear any type of arms for any reasons at anytime.

    The government is allowed to create whatever regulation it wants so ling as the right to keep and bear arms is not infringed.
    No... it literally says the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
    Infringement comes into play -long- before banning guns.
    The 2nd Amendment protects the right to own and use any firearm in common use for traditionally lawful purposes.

    I'll ask you again: Why do you hate the Constitution?

    According to Heller this does not mean you can not regulate guns. Which is the furtherest any US court has gone in applying the 2nd amendment to individual rights in our history.

    The state may regulate guns, so long as said regulations do not infringe on the right to keep and bear arms.
    All of the regulations before the court were held unconstitutional; no regulation was upheld as constitutional.

    7th Circuit, Moore v Madigan: Overturned Illinois ban on carrying concealed weapons, based on the right to keep and bear arms
    DC Circuit, Wrenn v DC: Overturned DC's defacto ban on carrying concealed weapons, based on the right to keep and bear arms.
