We smear black politicians just like we smear white politicians. 2012 should have told you that. Look what we did to the pizza guy.

You guys are the ones who have to walk the hi-wire when it comes to nominating blacks. There are a lot of southern whites who would demolish the Nixon Strategy if Carson came on board.

Some Republicans seem to believe all they need to do is put a Black person on the Republican ticket to get Blacks to vote Republican. The problem is that, since there are so few Black GOP politicians - only one appointee out of the 287 Republicans currently serving in the House and Senate (and they've dumped their only non-Christian recently) - they fantasize about political neophytes such as Condoleeza Rice, Herman Cain, or Ben Carson. (These fantasists are the same folks who maligned the incumbent for lack of elective experience, of course.)

Promoting a Black guy with no political resumé whose notions appeal primarily to Angry White Guys wouldn't win many Black votes.

The same would apply to putting a token Hispanic on the ticket.

Did Democrats put Biden on their ticket to win over the Angry White Guys?

Did it get them to vote Democratic?

I would lobby traditional Republicans and Democrats to run candidates who are central and Constitutional enough to work together
and represent both parties principles and all ranges in between. So they can run on a MIXED ticket and collaborate with all other parties to form solutions as a team.

    http://www.voteforvern.com

Vern Wuensche is a stable, sensible man, and could work with people of other parties IF HIS PARTY WOULD LET HIM and SUPPORT such an approach.

If the far right or Tea Party, or moderates who want to go mainstream, can see the benefit in investing in nondivisive candidates like Vern,
they could unite and embrace differences without getting conflicted, and even work with Democrats and progressives who want a sensible approach that
includes and doesn't threaten people's different views and approaches to govt. We need more people who know how to resolve problems, not exploit them.

He did serve a term in elective politics before his constituents dumped him, and his appeal to Angry White Guys could make him another of their entertainment industry stars.

I doubt if he could ever be as successful an entertainer as Sarah Palin, though.

The Republicans have a fairly large stable of possible candidates. I think that after the last two weeks of Hillary's book tour fiasco it is you who needs to be looking for an alternative. So who do the Democrats have?

Well what exactly does the GOP need to do to get a bigger share of that vote and be specific.

Well since they immediately get called Uncle Tom and get the Clarence Thomas treatment by the MSM and the black community.......

They should have kept him BECAUSE he is a Jew? How bigoted.

ROFL compared to BARACK OBAMA......oh spare me each of them is head and shoulders above that inept fool.

No, the stupid foolish ones, it was the only share of the white male vote then needed or could get.

My man Paul is leading the polls lately, that's heartening, though I know he won't have as much money in the primary as some others. Walker could make for a good dark horse but I think he probably needs to incubate in Wisconsin for awhile longer.

I think there is still a sizable contingent of Angry White Guys who wouldn't vote for a black guy no matter how the Reps dressed him up. They gotta be careful.

Take the Romney high road and just concede that 47% will never vote Republican. Either that or have companies to take it upon themselves to hire and train more blacks AND move them out of the projects into housing near the job. But first, Republicans have to get over their blackophobia.

Does "moderate Republican" = one who caves in to the Democrats?

    Name them.

    - - - Updated - - -

At this point, "moderate Republican" = sane and smart Republican.

But we sure pray that a "non-moderate" one wins the 2016 Nomination....sadly, I don't think Reince Priebus and the Big Donors are going to allow that.

The "obama" phone program started under Reagan, your messiah.

Those are messianic phones you're attributing to the great Satan Obama.

It doesn't matter. Moderate/True Believer, who cares? In three years, you're all going to be caving into Democrats.

    LOL!!!!

I know this is really sad but if there is ONE THING that would bring out the KKK burning crosses faster and holding more Lynch Mobs than 3 Very White Triplicate 16 year old Daughters simultaneously being married ON THE SAME DAY AT THE SAME TIME to the Starting Front 3.....Center, Forward and Point Guard of the NBA Harlem Basketball Team.....it would be a Presidential Split Ticket with A Male Republican and a Female Democrat!! LOL!!!

Thing is.....Hillary scares the HELL out of me and I have NO ISSUES about a Female U.S. President.....just NOT HER!!!

As far as the Republican RNC Presidential Hopefully.....so far I have not seen one Candidate I would trust with CLEANING MY TRUCK!!!

I say we hire a Hoodoo Priestess and chose the OLD FASHION WAY!!!

Won't work. He got an exemption from Obamacare and he's had the single biggest impact on shrinking Obama's unemployment numbers of any employer. Clearly he's a democrat.

    So does your average slaughterhouse.

Now that individually-mandated universal health coverage is a fait accompli and no longer an issue, they could go with Willard Romney and not have to finesse his signal achievement in politics.

He should dump the randwank, though. Neither could carry his home state, but Ryan couldn't even carry his hometown.

Hermann Cain or Donald Trump would be much more fun.

Specifically, they should be asking, not other White guys, but Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, female Americans, non-Christian Americans, and younger Americans what would be required to earn their votes.

I never said that, of course, but you did.

Yes, your indicating that Republicans should have voted for Cantor BECAUSE he is a Jew is bigoted.

Alienated pantywaists can indulge themselves in such spiteful conceits since the American people elected Obama to be their leader twice, and those other folks are all only imaginary presidents.

If your ideal is to find a Philosopher King to mete out perfect discipline among the people, then you'll never be satisfied with a mere human as a governmental leader.

Once you have arrived at this position, it is pointless to compare the candidates. All of them are imperfect. Therefore, we should simply give up on government and live in an anarchist's paradise.

What could possibly go wrong? ;)

The more important question is "What Democrat could run for President in 2016?"

    Any Democrat = Hussein Obama

At this point all I hope for is getting a candidate elected who won't overly screw things up! LOL!!!

The United States is a very complex SYSTEM WITHIN A SYSTEM ATOP A SYSTEM CREATING A SYSTEM THAT RUNS A WORLD SYSTEM!!!

Who is elected President....has very little effect upon the U.S. Economy as American's in general tend to run things themselves and the Government tends to be way behind the actions of the U.S. Private Sector.

LoL, that's not why. Announcing a front runner will immediately unleash MSM and David Axelrod.
