I find it hard to believe the Russian government offered $1,000 to the Afghan militants for every American soldier killed. It makes no sense to me. It sounds like another attempt to get at Trump, especially coming from the NYT. Why would the Russians care who kills who and much less offer money to a killer? Speaking of paying other countries money -- What is also hard to believe is Obama gave a terrorist country like Iran $1.5 billion, including $400 million to have a hostage released. But the latter actually happened.
Get ready for this and a lot more fake news since its an election year. If Russia even wanted to do that (and maybe they do), they wouldn't have left it up to Afghanis. (no offense to Afghanis, but what i'm saying is that if Russia DID this, they would make sure nobody knows about it). They would have accomplished this themselves. It’s becoming apparent that the political appointees heading our intelligence agencies are likely steering information the President wouldn’t be receptive to away from him. I don’t doubt we have this intelligence but I get the impression many in the administration are there to please not inform the President. In other words, there’s no level of competency within this administration. A collection of sycophants with a toxic view: everything is political.
All presidents are surrounded by sycophants. Trump is one of the few who will fire an incompetent one, as his record shows.
