Saying the media is biased against Republicans is an easy way to deflect the true cause of this so-called media bias. The sad truth is that the conservative movement was always going to end up this way because conservatism is an ideology, facts and results and pragmatism have no room at this table. The presence of facts challenging this dogma is proof that the world is biased against conservatives. It is not unlike a creationist saying science is biased against Jesus. When you shop for news looking for confirmation of your own bias, you fall right into the trap. Whether it is a person wanting Sean Hannity to reinforce some right wing bias or Mike Malloy screaming about the latest right wing scandal, if you want to find a soothing message for your rage, you can find it. The key is to have the ability to understand and find facts. Don't go looking for someone else to explain the facts for you. Here is an example of some factual information:

    1. President Obama is a Christian.

Now if one of your preferred news sources continuously challenges this fact then you are listening to dogma not news. Here is another fact:

    2. President Obama inherited the worst financial mess since the Great Depression.

Now if one of your preferred news sources continuously blames him for that state of the economy, you are listening to dogma not news. Here is another fact:

    3. Conservatives in power tend to grow government as much or more than liberals in power.

I think you are starting to get my point.
