• For starters, I'd have to agree, Hillary was an extremely flawed candidate. Factual or not, her personality negatives made her come off as too pompous and regal. She's also very pro-war, which was an issue the corporate media refused to bring up but from my perspective, was discussed by many middle class people. Her image as a bought and paid for banking/corporate shill resonated with many people.

• Obama and the Democrats alienated many liberals and progressives, especially Obama's warmongering.Their far left shift on PC social endeavors has already bit them in the ass and this is only the start. Sanders backing Hillary has doom his movement and Warren's support for her has killed any chance of presidential aspirations, barring any unforeseen situations.

• Members of the far right, particularly of the religious right, would be sorely mistaken to see this election as a mandate for their erroneous ideology. Trump is more neoliberal than the GOP partisians can imagine and religious based ideologies were never a part of his campaign platform.

• There is a resurgent interest in third party candidates.

 

Many of us thought it through. A Hillary presidency put many of our rights at risk, rights that liberals don't believe exist. Hillary never met a war she didn't like. I don't know about you but I'm tired of nationbuilding in other countries.

Oh no no. Hillary is not above our laws, nor is comey, lynch or anyone else who was involved in her criminal activity. You better hope obama pardons her, if not Hillary is heading to jail. lynch and comey will be lucky if all that happens to them is losing their careers and reputations. He also won 31 States by my count. And the difference is about 130 K votes. If every vote were proportioned equally regardless of population, Trump won more States and therefore should be seen as president. He was leading most of the night, how did this even happen?

She is not allergic, and she is selective vegetarian/vegan as she has enjoyed stuff with eggs, bacon fat, beef additives etc. (I guess ignorance is key) Much like People that are shown proof of Hilarys innocence, and commit the same crimes on a daily basis, that Hillary never actually committed but was just accused of....many times over and repeated till it got annoying and people just said ah F**k it....guilt by accusation.

I have to agree that this was one of her biggest errors. After riding Bill's coattails and using him to launch her own career in politics and went up against Obama 8 years ago. The dems were torn between wanting the first black or the first woman president. They chose the black guy and assumed the woman could run after Obama served his 4 or 8. Naturally to Hillary this meant it is her turn.

We have seen somewhat similar losses in the past. Bob Dole and John Mccain both seemed to act as though it was their turn to be elected and therefore they deserved the presidency of course that did not work out for them.

There are several other errors made by hillary and her side however.

I think the biggest is simply underestimating the mood of America in certain key areas. The biggest being in Political correctness. From the beginning many people myself included stated that this is what the Trump campaign was all about. Win or lose he would be a huge middle finger in the face of political correctness and the left better wake up and realize it. Hillary did not realize it. Americans are sick of left wingers telling us we are racist if we oppose BLM or islamaphobic if we see islam as a violent dangerous religion. If one opposes AA or bans on discrimination by business owners we are called racist or sexist or homophobic.

None of these labels are accurate they are just efforts to shut down any real or honest debate on the issues. It is not sexist to oppose feminist dogma or doctrine nor is it racist to call attention to the disproportionately high crime rate among african americans or the devastating rate of fatherless children in African American communities. But labeling someone in one way or the other has been the go to tactic for left wingers for decades now.

This was a huge reason for trumps success he said blunt candid things which offended the HELL out of the SJW /PC crowd and his supporters loved it. Hillary reacted by calling such people Alt right or deplorable not realizing just how huge the population of Americans are who basically are sick of the whole left wing PC cowardice.

As I recall trump has said a lot of goofy, stupid and crazy things during this campaign. I have my doubts that he will be a good president but am willing to wait and see what he does. Hillary however tried the same old thing that we have seen for decades. She stands for the children she stands for justice she stands for families blah blah blah. A back lash has been growing in America for sometime against the same old worn out political methods of standing for this or that and promising to make everyone better. Trump's ideas and promises may have been crazy or dumb or even impossible to deliver on but they were specific. He was not spewing the same old tired platitudes which is what Hillary did. Either she or her advisers did not realize how out of touch they are with the nation.

 

If what your candidate even proposes apparently isn't the gold standard, then what they propose is not what motivates the voters.
