You inhale dangerous 'stuff' into your lungs. Does it make a difference whether it's 'smoke' or 'vapors'...? Again, I don't CARE if they inhale this crap! They should be free to do that in their privacy of their own property -- so long as the don't come running to THE GOVERNMENT TO 'FIX' THEM WITH WELFARE HEALTHCARE AFTER THEY RUIN THEMSELVES! That understanding should also be true for anything that people do to AMUSE themselves.... :spin:

You don't know, and you don't care

    Ignorant tyranny.

You sound like every bit the "Ban everything, and get off my lawn!" boomer you did in the earlier Uber thread.

OK, I'll try to put it in simpler terms, Creasy....

Do whatever you want in the privacy of property you own/control -- but, YOU pay for all the problems, damage, and consequences of YOUR actions, to yourself, and to others, with no (NO) government handouts or welfare to 'backstop' your activities!

    Now... is THAT "tyranny"...?

Free American tobacco back to no restraints or laws, as in 1800.

then that applies to sports (kid plays football, no coverage for them), excessive carbs, going to the beach and getting too much sun, eating processed foods, drank alcohol, the list goes on and on, you should lose all benefits if you have ever done any of these things that have risks

you're free to do them, but if you do, the government will penalize you, now is that tyranny...

I say that is not a free country anymore

You're calling for the banning of legal products based upon nothing but your own uninformed opinions, and false assumptions.

That's not just tyranny, that's ignorant tyranny.

You want to have to be forced to smell people burning trash? It's still very common in a lot of third-world countries....

There's no reasoning with some people on some issues. So, sure, smoke, vape, shoot-up, get tattoos... do whatever you like. But AFTER the ill-effects of all this 'fun' cause you trouble, don't come running to the government to give you free healthcare to fix what YOU screwed up in yourself in the first place!

In fact, while we're at it, let's get the hell rid of ALL aspects of 'Socialism-lite' in our country and return to the sanity and personal responsibility of each person paying his/her own bills for medical services and medicine! Anybody got any complaints about THAT idea...?

I never took one puff on a cig or cigar, nor one puff of reefer, nor did any cocaine or crack or meth or any other street drug.

But a lot of people like and even love to smoke, ingest, or mainline these deleterious substances and they shouldn't be taxed on it or be able to take the producers to court for what they themselves did to themselves.

Never stop someone up on the high span from doing that belly flop. Let Darwin work.

if you want that, then you must approve of making all prescription and medical devices available over the counter without a prescription so people can self treat themselves or others without government interference

if the government makes the people get permission from a doctor, then the government needs to help the poor afford to see the doctor because they are prevented from self treating themselves

^^^^^Doesn't make sense... No one is saying that a person be prohibited from getting medical care for these things. What is being said is that a person should not expect the taxpayer to provide said medical care.

As an example, If I, or my kids, get injured in sports, then I, or my insurance which I pay for, will cover the costs. I absolutely do not expect the American taxpayer to bail me out for the results of my decisions.

Forcing me, the taxpayer, to pay for the bad results of others' decisions, is the antithesis of a "free" country.

If it happens in an organized league, the league most likely has private insurance to cover those things. If it is in the back yard, lots of "poor" people have insurance, depends on your definition of poor. And, there are charity hospitals. Lastly, a compassionate person such as yourself should step up and volunteer to pay for the medical bills of the poor.

Is lack of public assistance "tyranny" as you characterized it?

So long as we ban the internal combustion engine from heavily populated areas you can exclude vapers from public healthcare.
Along with people who drink alcohol and eat junk food.
Oh... and people who accidentally shoot themselves or fall off ladders putting Christmas lights up.

I could be wrong but I don't think anyone has been hospitalized or died from vaping a product that they used correctly. People are adding their own mix to be vaped.
the best solution is to get rid of the goofy watermelon and grapefruit and tuti fruity flavors and have tobacco, and menthol and well thats it. The product should be sealed at the factory and not possible for anyone to add THC or any other garbage to it. Damn, look at me, I just solved another problem with minimal effort.
