if so you would not be so afraid to say where the ignorance is. What do you learn from your fear? Are you really so slow that you don't understand that name calling is meaningless?

Hillary/Bernie endorse each other and in same Party. Both want always bigger govt. Only difference is practical consideration about what speed gets most votes to get to communism fastest! You have learned this 33 times. Shall we go for 34?

That liberalism and communism are not consistent is bleedin obvious. That you insist on making foolish comment merely neatly advertises right wing disregard of good sense.

why not write to Hillary and Bernie and tell them you know better? Write to Alger Hiss and tell him he got it wrong in spying for USSR? You are too deeply brainwashed to think or see your own prejudice.

Your inability to understand how liberalism and communism are not compatible isn't interesting. I already know you adopt a McCarthyism approach to politics, where good sense is sidelined by "they is red" rant

of course if I did not understand you would not be so afraid to say why you think that. You are mistaking your brainwashing or prejudice for thinking. What does your inability to present a reason teach you??

That you think liberalism and communism have any common ground only tells me you're not looking for reason.

I think it but so do Bernie and Hillary and Elizabeth. Do you have to learn it 44 times to learn it ? Why must I feel like a kindergarten teacher?

There's nothing to learn from cretinous comment. Thinking liberalism and communism share common ground only destroys credibility.

Some have long wanted to blend socialism and liberalism in a “third way”; that idea is now in ruins. But the alternative to a socialist liberalism need not be conservative. There is a liberalism that is serious, realistic, and where necessary even radical about liberal purposes.

The third way had naff all to do with socialism. See, for example, how Thatcher saw a Blair government as her greatest triumph. See also how those regimes fully supported neoliberalism.

Again, the problem is that you just misapply terms. That reflects how your knowledge deficiency feeds ideological demands

I use exact definition Wm Buckley Jr., Goldwater, Reagan used. They created and defined post world war 2 conservatism. Buckley wrote book called "Up From Liberalism" Why not read it to get up to speed? He said liberalism was "communist lite".

Yeah that Reagan was an intellectual great. I believe they also say that, after appearing in Bedtime for Bonzo, he was the most renowned expert in primatology.

Someone who found Franco to be a national hero and who wrote in favour of racial segregation? Good choice!

you missed the point 100% and completely. Goldwater Buckley Reagan defined the word beyond question. Definition is based on usage. OMG! Did you know that? And they used it and taught their definition to hundreds of millions so that it is now in ultra common use,.. such that even monkeys would know it. Perhaps in back water old world there are other far more trivial definitions which you imagine are primary definitions? Reading a book now about how Buckley and Mailer defined the 60's. Buckley created Reagan and Goldwater and easily established the definition of conservative, ie against govt, 1000's of times ahead of the second and third definitions. Further, Buckley's definition was almost identical to Jefferson's and Aristotle's. Now you got the whole picture. I assume when you decided to try your hand in the new world you knew you'd be learning a lot?

Good choice has nothing whatsoever to do with our subject. We are trying to teach you definition of conservatism not solicit from you your position on Franco or the Holy Ghost. How meaningful can a conversation with you be if you insist on changing the subject to avoid learning something important?

You don't think referring to Franco as a national hero and writing in favour of racial segregation isn't a tad definition revealing?

again, your prejudice has nothing to do with definition. The Spanish fascist leader Francisco Franco was a hero in the Buckley household, celebrated as a bulwark against the red menace.
