Actually you know, I think any of these could apply to anyone depending on your current mood. Also, these things are so variable. Even people who like to party don't want to or don't feel like it sometimes. That's what I mean by the human condition being too variable to fit into neat little boxes. One day, I might feel like going to a party. The next day, I might feel like not being around people and being alone, so it all depends on a lot of different factors.

I found myself checking off with neutral for some of the questions because many of the questions depend on different factors, IMO.

Sure. The test has its flaws, but it is not all entirely bogus and plain jibberish, afterall it is scientifically founded (just love whenever you can pull this argument to make a point) and therefore not at all like the bulls-t theories of astrology or like those "fun tests" that ask you questions like "Do you prefer red or blue?" and from that conclude whether you are sad or in love. What I like about te MBTI-test is that it isn't one-sided and actually takes many different factors under consideration.

There is of course a risk that people answer after what they feel for the moment, but I guess the idea is that you should really think and reflect over how you generally behave. For some this can be more difficult than for others, I am one of those who think it is difficult to discribe themselves. Antoher flaw I see is that your self-perception does not always correspond with how others percieve you, so perhaps it is a good idea to let someone close to you take the test for you and compare their result to your own. I don't know.

I like these kind of tests though. Like I said in the opening post it is mostly for fun anyways. :)

Well, you do seem to be very active on PF so... :p

I'm an INTJ...so is my husband. Its why we get along so well, we tend to approach problem-solving exactly the same way.

lol. No. When I left "the other place", I went prowling. Looking for a new "home". Actually, I have been looking for some time now, I just didn't advertise it. Then I finally had enough. Takes me awhile, but when I have enough, I have enough. Then Kat told me about this place but by then, I was pretty much settled in the MBTI place. But I got to where I dreaded going there. Did I, a non Alphabet Member post accidentally in a RSTU forum or thread? So when Kat said PF, and that she heard of it from you, here I came. Seems like we three are not the only ones, eh?

But if this new "fad" hits here and goes to the same extremes...color me gone. I had enough with that, too.

Im an XNTX (my introversion and extroversion AND my judging and perceiving scores are always too close to be definitive). But I suspect I lean more towards INTP.

I've leaned in both directions in respecting the Myers Briggs test. It can be a little nebulous in its personality definitions, a little like a horoscope.

I folded. Took the stupid test. Most were in the middle cuz I keep putting on shoes and walking around in them when they belong to someone else. You know..."walk a mile in my moccasins" sorta thing.

Ha Ha, still think it's rubbish Arkie... "nurturer of harmony" "outstanding hostess" from reading your posts I'd say it's pretty close :)

lol. Thank you. But I can also be kinda...unhostess-ish and far from harmonious if someone gets my ire up...or I am in pain and take it out on the world. I don't mean to, though. It just happens. I COULD stay loaded all the time I guess and be the hostess with the mostest but I hate being drugged up. So.....I yam, and I yam not. :hippie:

But I appreciate the kind words. :)
