    Completely missed the point.

What option did the south have? Take them to court for a third time so that the north could ignore the scotus for a THIRD time?

The south wanted peaceful secession or the constitution followed. The north refused both and then murdered hundreds of thousands of people and burned down peoples homes and towns and places of worship and raped untold numbers of women while forcing starvation upon the rest in order to force subjugation upon a group of citizens who didn’t want it.

And they did it all under the guise of freedom and unity.

Since you seem to have an interest in History, I have a good book for you to read. It is college level reading but might open your eyes to the contemporary conditions of the South. I learned a lot more from it over the preconceived notions I had from a central southern midwestern upbringing.

Klan and neo-Nazi orgs almost always support any Democrat candidate. Surely you know that.

Ever here of collateral damage in time of War? It happens.....never a policy of leadership. You sow to the wind you reap the whirlwind. Stop crying like a baby.

The Southern states held half of the Senate before succession. They could have stopped the USG in its tracks indefinitely. Succession was one of the great miscalculations in human history. Which is why most succession votes failed until that idiot Beauregard fired on Ft. Sumpter.

And civilians had been targeted in Kansas even before the Civil War started.

Collateral damage means you knocked down a ammunition’s factory and someone was in there and died.

Raping, murdering and pillaging innocent civilians is terrorism not collateral damage.

What good does holding half of the senate do when you have a government who violates the constitution at will and a petulant president who is willing to declare martial law to get his way?

By individual bands of people. The south made it a hangable offense to purposefully target a civilian.

I wonder why the north didn’t? I mean other than the fact they were getting their asses kicked by an army with far less supplies, weapons and ammunition and who were outnumbered 3:1.

To assert the north didn’t go into desperation mode and start targeting innocent civilians in a terrorism campaign is simply falsified history.

The South never had a chance. Especially after Johnston died. Southern troops are always very good, but the South's political class and its military leaders squandered them.
The "individual bands" that terrorized Kansas seeded the whirlwind of retaliation.
Sherman was clearly focused on feeding his troops and destroying the ability of the enemy to supply its armies. The civilians were not the targets or they would have all been slaughtered - they were defenseless.

I can link to most every traitor secessionist state and they will list slavery as one of the main issues for being a traitor state.

Losers never get to claim the winners are traitors.
And history, real history, shows the slave states fired the 1st shot.

Which has absolutely nothing to do about the current admin not replenishing stock. Not a very good deflection.

Martial law? When has that happened.
Is that what they teach in the south? No wonder they were traitors.

If you and I enter into an agreement and we both willfully sign a contract that defines our rights and responsibilities under said agreement. Years later I come back and say, “You know I never liked this part of our agreement because I consider it to be immoral. As such I’m no longer going to uphold that portion of our contract whether you like it or not.” You respond and say, “That’s fine. If you want to unilaterally alter our agreement without my consent then I want out of our partnership.”

Who is the traitor, you or I?

If I then come back and say, “No you’re not leaving our partnership and if I have to murder your men, women and children to stop you then that’s what I’m going to do.”

Who is in the right and who is in the wrong? Furthermore, if placed in that position would you not fight back?

My major reason for coming here is to gawk in horror at the absolute rejection of objective reality and fact, all in the name of glorifying a phony orange figurehead failure. Easily the most corrupt, least effective president in US history. When he's gone, just watch how fast the story becomes "I never was much of a Trump fan". His fans will abandon hm like they did Dubya. The damage he's done will last though.....

David Duke endorsed a Democrat, returning to his roots.
