Sounds like you were military, again without a passport, stationed around the globe, projecting the American empire. Getting paid with tax dollars. And still the ugly American who hates what he saw.

As a matter of incidental fact, I did serve honorably in the U. S. military, O "psychic one", but all the overseas travel I mentioned before I did during my days working for Fortune 50 Federal Government Prime Contractors, and, I held two different top-secret security clearances. My other travels were, uh, none of your f**king business....

Oh, and I DID have a passport, and I continue to have a passport to this day! Are you any better at guessing what the stock market does...? :spin:

The thing is that they are a single culture with an accent on education and social cohesion. Thus 'Socialism' might work in a country like Denmark but less so in Venezuela. Therefore the success behind Denmark, Norway or Sweden, is not Socialism itself but the culture. Japan is a successful country, as is Singapore, but neither would be considered "White". This suggests that cultures must change if they want to be successful in the modern world, but that depends on the 'enlightened' leaders of these more backward countries and access to a more liberal education.

If we look at the top and bottom of these lists and examine the differences we may come up with a more equitable answer than simply making the claim that it's socialism that's to be credited.

Darn right. In America people are terrified of losing their jobs and health care. Or doing what they really want to do, other than a job they hate.
Your Marco Polo travels are duly noted for the record.

I'm talking about "why are they happy ?". Helping each other can make you happy. I'm not talking about economical success. Furthermore, is every mecanism of help socialism ? I don't think so.

Japan have one of the highest suicide rate in the world, no children, they don't look happy. After they submitted to their emperor, they just submitted to their boss with no respect for their own life.

Well, thank you, then, for your gracious acknowledgement of the fact that some of us who think your doctrinaire, broad-brush pronouncements are shallow and boorish have actually been abroad, and, more importantly, have formulated informed opinions about socialism in general, and what this retrogressive, parasitic, 19th-century idea of government actually does to populations infected with it over time. Your condescencion is "duly noted for the record" (whatever the hell that means....). :nana:
