It is only stupid if you ignore a lot of really solid stuff, which some would call willful ignorance. Now me, I would call it something else.

There were plenty of election irregularities to take a pause to investigate, and there is no point in Trump rushing to concede until all legal queries are settled. The election will be "over" on December 14th, at the latest, when the electors vote.

There has been no evidence of true "irregularities," just Trump and his followers crying about results that they don't like. But I'm glad you, at least, will put this nonsense to rest on the 14th. The child in the Oval Office likely won't.

To be fair, I think they started with the Goldwater campaign. My side aired some really terrible ads. Both sides have done bad, really terrible things. Neither side is ever completely right or completely wrong.

Ensure the integrity of the election is not nonsense, in my opinion. But yes, the election is over on the 14th unless Trump were to concede before that date, which seems somewhat unlikely. Then it's time to get busy planning for Republicans to take over the House and strengthen the Senate lead.

His concession has no official significance one way or another when it comes to the results. I personally look forward to power being split between the Executive and the Senate once again. Rubber stamps suck.

Well there was another kind of claim in 2016. Not domestic voter fraud but that the Russkies had stolen the election, in conjunction with the agent Trumpski.

    New World Order???

Anyway...my claim about your posting certainly matches the threads in which I've been a participant. You may have taken differing positions in threads that I've not followed, and who knows, you may have taken an off-the-reservation position once or twice, but as far as I can tell, you are reading off the same talking points as those who acknowledge they are progressive Democrats.

Oh, that we can agree on. Of course, that's pretty much how I always feel about the Executive, regardless of party.

Which you are so upset about because everyone knows that Libertarians are united in their desire to extend the US security umbrella around the Ukraine!

I think I read that in Reason Magazine, right next to the article on "The Libertarian Case for Invading and Occupying Syria."

    LOL!

I've not read of any investigative findings that Trump was an agent of Russia. You didn't fall asleep while watching MSNBC and dreamed it did you?

I've never supported an invasion of Syria or extending any kind of "security umbrella" around the Ukraine. I'm not as much of a fan of drugs as many of my fellow Libertarians are, but I'd be very curious to know what you are smoking.

You would call it something else other than conspiracy theory?

    OK

So... your not really concerned about the Ukraine, you were just going off of Democratic talking points where they pretend to be concerned about the Ukraine.

    OK all cleared up now.

I'm concerned about Trump abusing his power when it comes to Ukraine, and I think it is funny that taking a softer approach toward Russia on Ukraine was the only contribution they had to the GOP platform in 2016 . . . (2020 being the first year in which the GOP never even bothered to come up with a platform beyond ALL HAIL LORD TRUMP). But keep trying to avoid the facts by changing the topic to the Dems. It's adorable.

Avoiding the topic? I thought we were discussing your un-libertarian defense of the Ukraine? You really need to keep your talking points in two distinct piles.

What defense of Ukraine . . . hun, are you reading these posts? You really need to keep your taking points to things that people have actually said.

    So are the republicans.
    It's a global world.
We are only going to be interacting with other countries and continents even more.
One day, the world will be working together.
And it would be better for USA if we were at the table help leading the changes.

I did not say Trump was an agent of Russia. I get most of my data from government web sites, wikipedia and any of several conservative sources.

NO! Politics is adversarial, sometimes hostile, but mostly adversarial with many side bargains and temporary alliances. Politics is the art of causing things to be done.

Well that was the central claim, that Trump colluded with Russia.
