BLM was born from "hands up don't shoot", which turned out to be a false narrative. That in fact was not the case.

Yes, BLM was born on lies. Sorry the hurts your wittle feewings

There are many ethic tensions. Black people are openly being racist against white people. Bigots are coming out of the woodwork.

No, says FBI crime statistics, the Baltimore Juries, The Justice Dept. probe into the Ferguson/Brown issue, etc. etc. etc.

Look man, we as a country are never going to get ANYWHERE if we can't accept the same facts. As the saying goes, "you're entitled to your own opinion, not your own facts", so, lets deal with the crime stats coming from the same people who just let Hillary off the hook, which elsewhere you applauded. So, If the got it right with Hillary, then how did they not get it right with the crime stats that they generate?

I don't want innocent people getting shot by cops either, but most of those people were not innocent, and the figures of police violence against blacks is HUGELY exagerated by BLM for purely political purposes. Sharpton, Jackson and Farakan are getting old. What you're seeing is nothing but the next generation of race hustlers vying for the mantle and nothing more. It's so obvious, why do you buy into it? When you promote this fiction, you only serve to worsen things.

Well, I "feel" like I'm wealthy, but my bank account show the reality. You see, feelings should be modified to match reality, not reality modified to match feelings. One is the sign of a rational mind, the other a sign of insanity.

The problem is, in bad communities, the "citizens" and "criminals" overlap too much. Every family has a father or mother or son or daughter or niece or nephew or uncle or aunt who is a criminal.

They could just demonstrate an upgrade in dignity by just treating me like a man, and not a WHITE man. Maybe if THEY could show just a little understanding, a little acceptance........ but what BLM wants is for everybody else to do the heavy lifting.

Sounds like a psychological problem to me, perhaps they should avail themselves to their county's mental health program.

A white man is killed by police every 22 hours, and sometimes it a black cop who did the shooting. What the Fork is your point? If you were a black saying this about other blacks they'd "uncle tom" you so damn quick....

Do you have examples of when Blacks didn't treat you like a man? Im sure they would commiserate with you.

I have said from the beginning of that I have no respect for BLM but you could do all of us a big service if you post what specifically are is the fraud and the lies that BLM is built on. If you could do that you will have an opportunity to convince those on the fence you think honestly that BLM is not a good movement.

    Can you do that ????

Given the frequency that cops shoot family pets to smithereens, I think we should change BLM to BLACK LABS MATTER. Seeing as they are killed more than Black Humans.

The lie and fraud is in the fact that cops do the same thing to whites in white areas. There are three small towns near me that do nothing but set speed traps and collect revenue. They will pull you over for any minor infraction or vehicle issue, such as a broken tail light. Everyone who lives around here knows it, and drives white-knuckled at 10 and 2 going through those communities. It's not a race thing. It's a revenue thing.

Right. Shoot one of their dogs and see what it gets you. I hate it when they unjustifiably shoot dogs, too; but it's not a priority for me. It does speak to training, however. By the way, if pepper spray will turn away a bear, and it often does, it will turn away a dog. Use the pepper spray. That's why it's there.

No, but don't make it out to be a racial issue. I believe these speed traps are illegal in my state. If enough people raised enough hell, these small agencies would be examined by the AG and likely cease these revenue scams.

This might be an issue where blacks and whites can unite. The problem is it's a local issue and not federal. Besides, it's more fun to witch hunt for racists within police departments, so that'll be the only focus. Squeaky wheel getting the grease.

So, what you are saying is, we should join them? Not to dilute their message, but to amplify it? I agree. We all should feel safe around those we pay to protect us.

Only good things happen when we trust police.

And these hostile confrontations are going to ease those tensions?

Actually yes. The march, was peaceful, and exemplified good rapport. It was how the rest of America could be. So, YEs.

The police reaction was what eased those tensions, the march was prepared for confrontation. I don't recall seeing a clip of a BLM demonstration that didn't involve angry screaming. They don't go to Trump rallies all quietly carrying signs.

The entire BLM movement is "hostile"?

And have you seen the ethnic makeup of many related protest groups? (It's not only Black people who care about what's going on; just as it should be.)

The problem with Dallas is the cops there didn't do anything to warrant attack. Not that attacks are ever warranted, but I'm sure sensible people could understand if the brother or father of a shooting victim by cops wanted vengeance or something that would be different. In this case the events that led up to the attack were completely unrelated to Dallas. Couple that with riots across the country, again completely unrelated to local events, and its easy to feel nothing but contempt and anger at these BLM idiots...

Asking that people pay you, if they use what you own.
