White Guilt is ABSURD!

White guilt over the past is truly absurd by a bunch of losers in my opinion. I know of NO other culture, race or ethnicity now - or ever - that expresses shame and guilt over the conquests and successes of their culture, society or country in the past or present.

The United States did NOTHING that every other country in the world and certainly every other empire did not do - and far worse. Yet NONE of them laments such a past. The most notable example is the Muslim Empire.

The Muslim empire is the largest and oldest empire in known world history continuing to today, though currently fragmented somewhat. It grew by the most brutal of tactics - mass killing, mass terrorizing and mass enslaving along its path. Estimates reach 300,000,000 as to how many were killed, a number that in relation to world population is over 2 billion people today. They enslaved massively more people than the United States ever did as well as engaging it sex-slavery sales on a massive scale, which the United States never did. Slavery existed in the Muslim world until just a few decades ago and in much of the Muslim world essentially still exists.

Ever hear a Muslim leader talking about "Islamic guilt?" "Arab guilt?" "Persian (Iranian) guilt?" Are there a trillion words on their media and in their press about "Muslim privilege?" Do Muslim leaders and media personalities incessantly call for a "dialogue" on race relations? Ethicity relations? Religious tolerance? NEVER.

What about the Greeks profusing lamenting Alexander the Great or their slavery past? Do the Chinese talk of reparations to the Koreans or the Japanese of reparations to the Chinese? When was the last time Italy engaged is great remorse over the conquests, slavery, and horrors brought around the world in the Roman Empire? Is there ANYWHERE - South American, Central America, Africa - ANYWHERE but the white West where people lament and sob of their race? Ethnicity? National history? The glories of their country's past?

The USA is NOT wealthy and powerful because of immigration. NOT wealthy and powerful because for being nice people. Not wealthy and powerful because of diversity nor liberty nor democracy. The USA is wealthy and powerful because it was a kick-ass country of kick-ass people, and overwhelming this meant white people - and certainly meant Americans. Americans were the most aggressively competitive people in the world as a nation and individually. It was not goodness that was admired, but the success that was admired. No time for losers either. Pity and compassion did not drive the USA's economy, expansion or rise in world power. WINNING drove the USA's economy, expansion and rise to world power.

Whenever I hear or read a white person buying into the white guilt, white supremacy sobbing and apologizing, how the USA was evil white people, demanding diversity, and penitence for the past, what I am hearing in my view is a naive, spoiled brat (even if adult) totally ungrateful for all their own ancestors gave to them and believing all s/he has is just deserved because they are enlightened - that life and the world OWES them possessions, housing, income, and safety. I hear self-destructive fools, a clown - and a self-destructive person.

 

Guilt is a weapon of Mr. Satan. Th beaten wife syndrome.

 

So what does the USA do now that it is boss hog of the planet?
Shall it do good or bad?

Surprisingly, Jews and Christians were tolerated far better in the Ottoman empire than Jews and Muslims were in the Holy Roman empire, circa 800 - 1806. 300,000,000 killed? I have no white guilt and I'm very pleased I was born white.

 

Endless hordes of homeless people streaming over our southern border and collecting welfare benefits isn't my concept of a wise immigration policy. That's my opinion I welcome yours.

I've noticed that those who profess inclusion and equality from one side of their mouth, also preach hatred toward whites from the other. So I have to laugh at their asininity, their hypocrisy, and the forcefulness of their stupidity.

I don't see Chinese sorry for Kahn or Mao. I don't see any muslims sorry for Muhammad. I don't see Blacks sorry for Africa. I don't see Mexicans sorry for the Aztecs. But white-Americans have to be sorry for random minority of whites back 200-600 years ago, while ignoring the advancements and the righteous deeds (fighting to free slaves) done by other whites.

Exactly right, what white conservative hasn't been called a redneck or whitey by the alt-Left? It's outrageous how they judge us for the lack of melanin in our skin.

What is behind this is a kind of self flagellation by people who think America is too big for its britches, got rich off the backs of others, and does not particularly like America for those reasons. Most of the Democrat party elites are this way; Obama was this way in spades. His first foreign trip was to Egypt to apologize for America and tell Muslims that we will "do better" in the future. Slavery and white guilt is just an acceptable foil that is convincing to many.

One minor disagreement: individual liberty was in fact a major piece of our great success.

 

Built on LEGAL or illegal immigration. They are different.

And that so many of them are white themselves is a puzzlement. They preach inclusion and the wonderfulness of our differences in the collective liberty. But then they lament and wail when the outcomes in liberty are not the same, as if liberty should clone away our differences, rather than perfect our individual, God given talents. And this is right upon the heels of their extolling of our differences in race and culture. As if they hated what they loved, and loved what they hated.

At any rate, to me their words are a poisonous subtle violence, begging war as it were. Ironically, they are firmly entrenched in the constitutional right to free speech which was established by their three major targets, which are, white, Christian, men. Maybe some day they will come to their senses.

 

For much of our country's early history there was no legal or illegal immigration the colonies all on the East Coast we're just immigrants the concept of an illegal immigrant came later plus don't forget about all of the illegal immigrants that came into the country by getting into Canada first and then sneaking down across the border I know number of families in Washington state whose ancestors did that a couple Generations back

 

About the only people I see discussing white guilt are righties. Quit obsessing over ancient history.

Cold hearts can't distinguish between empathy and understanding, and guilt. It is confusing to them.

 

Some great points here. However, keep in mind that the ones pushing white guilt the most are not actually suffering from any feelings of guilt. The left-wing ideology that many subscribe to preaches a "if it feels good, do it" style of irresponsibility, so a conscience-based feeling like guilt is precluded. These people are simply using white guilt as part of their "critical theory" method of agitation, which creates tension in society that they can use as a foothold to advance their far-left agenda. Most of these people live very comfortable, wealthy lives in the whitest suburbs they can afford to live in.

 

What people don't realize is that we never had a large safety net or welfare system when we had mass migration. The people came here to work for a better life.

Immigrants today are just taking advantage of our hospitality.
