    Sure.

He can do it at McDonalds.

    Nobody cares.

But, Trump won't get to have his ego stroked by giving it from The House podium.

    Trust me, I'm an attorney?

I know impeachment has been their stated goal, as does everyone in the free world, but it will not happen. Even Nancy has no stomach for it.

Then it's not a 'normal speech', is it.

More like: you have no idea that you're on the left hand side of the dunning Kruger curve, it's extremely annoying, and I'd like you to understand that.

I think youd be surprised. If she thought she had something solid to go on, enough to part the Senate from him, shed go for it. Even if she only got a quarter of the pubs in the Senate that would be a ridiculous victory for her as getting bill Clinton impeached if not convicted was for the pubs.

Either way the original point was that if Congress were to not obey his directive the remedy would be impeachment. Impeachment can only be accomplished by Congress. In other words, he has no mechanism with which to punish them really, except for petty, though admittedly satisfying, moves like the tarmac trolling of 19

I'm not sure what your point is. It would in fact be a normal speech when he gave it and only count when the letter was delivered.

Show the law if you expect to be believed.

Why would Democrats, far and away the father of most of our laws ever create a law against presidents such as you describe?

I am very interested in the law you are wanting us to believe.

The president has a lot of power. Much more than Pelosi or Schermer. Pelosi though, at least for now, is the keeper of the fun house. The pres has to be invited. He can't compel congress to listen to his address. The constitution mandates that the president address congress as to the state of the union each year but it doesn't have to be in person. He could tweet it if that is what he wants to do.

This situation has never occurred before. Pelosi is treating on thin ice with her disrespectful antics. It will bite her in the ass, soon.

I’m glad to see the president honor and follow his constitutional obligation., regardless of the left’s attempts to undermine the constitution.

Oh good, you happen to be able to show to all of us that she has the right to stop the president from addressing congress from the House. We will love you favoring us with the law you are referring to.

What would you be charged with if you attempted to take the floor of Congress?

Have you not read the constitution? Where does it give the executive power to speak on the floor of Congress without permission?
As stated itd be like Pelosi giving an address from the Oval Office.

Nancy seems blind to the fact, we will have a republican speaker plus a Democrat as president down the road. She is borking congress.

When you are asked for the law, but you try to make that publishing of the law my duty, you proved you know of no such law.

For the President to speak on the floor without an invitation? Indeed that was my point there, I know of no such law authorizing that. He can call them back into session. He can send letters. He can ask. He cannot command.

    Speaking to congress is contempt?
OK, you took over for him, show us that law and show where it proves your claim.

Its in the House rules which govern the body the membership , and the space inside that chamber. Donald Trump rules the White House, the staff, and the space inside the White House. I asked for a law, because nothing else will provide any rights to a non-member of the House, to even be in the House chamber at all. Those who are allowed on the House floor are strictly spelled out (Members and attaches) as is what they can do as visitors , while the House is in session .
    Rule 74
    Visitors

Visitors shall be admitted to the Hall of the House only when sponsored by a member. The Chief Clerk shall issue an appropriate pass to any visitor so sponsored.

Persons admitted to the Hall of the House other than members and attaches, shall not be permitted to stand while the House is in session but shall be seated in chairs provided for them. At no time shall visitors be permitted on the Floor of the House while the House is in session unless so permitted by the Speaker.

You can actually support a Republican House doing that to a Democrat president? I simply do not believe you would. Nancy is really taking a dump on the House.
