I do not think someone expecting that they would not have to back up their claim with something other than fallacy (google it) is priceless .. it is more just laziness and ignorance.

Anyone can have an opinion but, is it informed ? This is a debate channel = one is supposed to make a case for why a claim is correct or true.

Expecting others to accept your claims as truth - without any legitimate (non fallacious) justification, evidence or proof that they are true - is not the sign of an open mind.

What is really absurd is the claim "google it" .. as justification for a claim. This is not an argument for anything. One can find anything one wants pretty much on google regardless of whether or not it is true but at the end of the day .. it is your job to show that your claim is true ... not the person you are debating.

Did it contribute 0.00001% or 50% ? Without clarification your claim above is essentially meaningless and the above claim certainly does not translate to Reagan being a significant factor in the downfall of the Soviet Union (which is what you were saying initially).

Last - repetition of premise is not proof of claim.

Insults and telling someone to go find the answer out for themselves on google is not an argument for much and certainly is not proof of claim.

If you are scared to try to justify your claim because you are worried about being proven wrong this is understandable and not all that uncommon however, this is no reason to attack the messenger.
