Trump hired Bannon as a top adviser. He hired Jeff Sessions as Attorney General.

Suggesting Trump is against everything Bannon stands for is really just plain silly.

One doesn't even have to point out the many statements Trump makes in support or excuse making for the white nationalist movement or the statements he makes in opposition to the well-being and equality of all Americans.

He's concerned about his base, and that base is closely associated to the general white nationalist "America First" movement.

Just because Trump won't pander to the alt-left like Obama did, and just because he's willing to call out violence on all sides, doesn't mean he's against the well-being and equality of all Americans. In fact you could argue the opposite - we finally have a president who cares about the well-being and equality of all Americans, including *gasp* whites, Christians, conservatives....

The partisanship and racial divisiveness really needs to end, but it seems to be the lifeblood of the left at the moment.
