If every assault in the NBA for an entire year was a white man assaulting a black player I’m sure more venues would be covering this. I believe the NBA is racist towards whites anyway. Even white players have been on record being racist towards whites. Legends like Larry Byrd was in his own words “offended” if a white person was guarding him because he felt only blacks were good enough to guard him.

Now fast forward to 2024 and we have blacks beating in whites in the NBA with no legal actions. When there is clear assault like this caught on video and no one charged I would call that privileged.

Well, may I suggest you never watch the NHL then.

In the NHL it is within the rules to allow consensual fights. In fact in some states they will not prosecute consensual fights. That however is on a whole different argument to a non consensual assault or a sport that doesn’t allow assaults.

Lol, so assaults aren't your issue. It's who's doing the assaults. Got it.

What part of my argument is false? The NBA is allowing illegal assaults. And all of them from the last year were against whites. Why wouldn’t you have a problem with that?

Because you don't have a problem with it in the NHL. Where assaults happens far more often to white guys. Forgive me for not understanding the difference.

The NHL allows it in the rules, does the NBA allow assault?

So the NHL allows whites guys to get assualted every night by rule and you have not problem with that. But you have a problem with the NBA that doesn't allow it, with actual punishments in place if you violate ? Lol. C'mon Joe , you can't be serious.

The NHL has rules that allow for fights yes. The NBA does not. If there are rules that make fighting legal then the participants are well aware of that possibility. Does the NBA allow fights? And if not why are they not calling out the attacks on whites within their sport?

The NBA has punishments , suspension and fines for people that violate the rules. And I like your play on words also. It's just fights in the NHL but attacks in the NBA. Lol

It is likewise against the law. Why are they not criminally perused?

The NHL allows it. It’s in the rules. Your argument is like saying all people in boxing or the MMA should be held as assault too. That’s absurd. The NBA has zero rules that allow fighting.

Here's the real answer to your question Joe. They don't complain or press charges. I've seen plenty of assaults in other sports as well. Most athletes in contact sports understand, this could happen at anytime.

But when fighting is not allowed in sports it becomes a crime.

Is there a statute in law that requires assault to be accompanied by a complaint?

In a contract sport, I think it's a understood rule. Fights might break out.

However when it’s a trend directed towards a singular race I feel something needs to be done.

It seems you're trying to make it a race issue when it's not.

Are you just now learning that sports can be very emotionally heated and violent at times?
