    The 2nd demonstration was against police inaction related to the protest march the day before. The Proud Boys contained themselves and interfered with no one. They were set upon without provocation. The police again belatedly, and inadequetly performed their duty. It's a legitimate grievance, and it was a legitimate protest. ANTIFA is the fascist mob.

    The problem in the United States, is that conservatives have been deluded by their own media. It is, perhaps the primary reason I have such a low opinion of conservatives. The reality is that violent right-wing groups, like Patriot Prayer and the Proud Boys have been traveling around the country, going into iconic liberal areas, like Portland and Berkely for the sole purpose of causing trouble.

    If the AntiFa was really the source of the problem, why is it that the violent right-wing groups always come from out of state, while the AntiFa are always local?

    The other day I happened upon a website that showed a series of interesting events. It began with a Proud Boy Rally. The speaker got them all riled up, when they took to the steet, punching and kicking everyone and everything they encountered. It then showed clips from ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS and the BBC giving an account of the event. On FOX they told a different story. Even though they showed footage of violent Proud Boys in action, all they talked about was the AntiFa.

    If you'll notice the proud boys go where antifa goes and has it out with them. ANTIFA on the other hand attacks citizens minding their own business driving down the street. Really no comparison here.

    Who are they preventing from speaking? Who'd they shoot with their scary guns? Taken right before they burned the flag, assaulted the police, smashed windows, toppled statues, defaced offices, damaged vehicles? Do tell! :roll: Maybe they were SO intimidating you turned off the TV before the bloody riot started?

    Exactly. They keep marching through Portland. They insist that they are just exercising their First Amendment right to free speech. Yet when they come to town, they are wearing helmets and body armour, and wearing shirts that say things such as "F*** LIBERALS".

    On their last trip through Portland, the Portland Police discovered a small group of the Patriot Prayer, atop a parking garage, with a good view of the protests below. They had with them a cache of firearms. They told the Police that they were there to offer cover fire for their brethren, if need be.

    Link me to a source claiming proud boys attacked random civilians. All I can find is accounts of attacks on antifa members.

    Again, you are operating with false information. Here in Portland, the AntiFa is homegrown. an outgrowth of the Anarchist movement that has long been active in the Pacific Northwest. I regularly encounter members, and never see violence. The violence only happens when the violent right-wing groups come to town, wearing helmets and body armour, brandishing weapons and spraying pepper spray.

    Find me an instance of violent liberals staging demonstrations in conservative areas

    We see violent right wing white nationalists in Portland...San Francisco...New York all the time
