How the hell did he get 1% of the vote with the first 3 posts being for Gary Johnson?

That seems statistically unlikely with the level of Republican/Democratic posters we see on this sight.

Maybe we are the only ones who are proud of who we voted for?

i think because your average american isnt that into politics, and just goes with choice A or B. while people on here are very into politics and have very strong views.

    as the totals go

    Romney - 3
    Obama - 1
    Johnson - 3
    Didnt vote - 1

You are definitely onto something. The people on here think about politics more than the average person, and thinking people are far less likely to choose one of the two establishment candidates.

    Really???? Hmmm.

"I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country."...."I believe that since Roe v. Wade has been the law for 20 years, it should be sustained and supported. And I sustain and support that law and support the right of a woman to make that choice."----Mitt Romney, 1994 debate with Ted Kennedy

    How do you KNOW that?

From what Mitt SAID...when he was running for a GOP Nomination and knew he'd have to come off as "stridently pro-life" to win the Nomination??? :)

well... abortion isnt the only issue. and compared to obama anyone is better. plus he was the best pro life candidate. i mean going by the choices he was the best in terms of chance of winning and views. look at my signature. my political beliefs match his platform

How do you KNOW that Mitt Romney was "pro-life"??? You think he had some "road to Damascus" conversion....that just COINCIDENTALLY occurred when he decided to run for President and knew that no pro-choice Republican could ever win the GOP Nomination for President????

Or was he lying back in 1994 for political purposes? But the problem is...if he'll lie once about abortion, no reason to think he wouldn't do it again for political purposes?

BTW, in 40 years since Roe....has ANY Republican President who claimed he was "pro-life" ....ever asked Congress to vote on the Human Life Amendment to the Constitution?

Romney wasn't pro-life. He publicly claimed to be pro-choice and he signed Romneycare into law, which provided taxpayer funding for abortions. At least Obamacare doesn't provide taxpayer funding of abortions.

The only reason you think Romney is pro-life is because flip/flopped and he lied to you, and the media helped to perpetuate that lie. Or, as the right-wing propaganda machine put it, "he had a change of heart." LMAO!!!!

Romney's words contradict themselves, but his voting record is crystal clear. Romney is more pro-choice than President Obama! If you were concerned about which candidate was the least pro-choice, Obama was your guy. Too bad you voted for the guy who supported forcing taxpayers to pay for abortions instead of the guy who didn't.

But in a way ...it's comforting to those who are pro-choice.

Republican politicians easily lie about being "pro-life"....the "pro-lifers" believe it....and then are "shocked" when they discover that the GOP pol isn't following through with his rather vague and nebulous promise to "do everything I can to protect the unborn"......and it happens year after year and year after year....

and the poor "pro-lifers" STILL keep voting Republican and think "Things are going to change....THIS time." Like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football with Lucy holding it.

Wouldn't have guessed that, bravo dip2.0, bravo.

Funny how many of my friends and clients voted for Obama and Romney but if you sit them down and go issue by issue, they almost unanimously agree with Johnson's opinions.

Sadly both the red and blue sheep wanted to do nothing but fight.

    Another Gary vote here

Either way, the unborn lose. I don't know why some of you people are so pompous about this issue. You're like the southern Democrats taunting the northerners about how nice it is to own slaves. It's disgusting.

its also the mindset. at the very least romney would bring a pro life mindset into office. its a step in the right direction either way.

Except all those "taunting Southern Democrats"....are Republicans now, thanks to Nixon's "Southern Strategy".

    - - - Updated - - -

Again, how do you KNOW Romney's "mind-set"....when less than a decade before he was vociferrously pro-choice?!?!?!? And he signed his "Romneycare" bill not even that long ago which included coverage for abortion services???

You DO realize that even Republican politicians can LIE to you....right?
