and what happens if she just walked out of the hospital without signing and without the 'item'... they would track her down and charge her... ergo, my suggestion for making new law, it'd be an interesting case, i'm not saying i'd agree/disagree, just that it'd be extremely interesting to see that case in action...
By your legal logic here, if a woman willingly enters the home of a man.... Perhaps you should go back to the drawing board...
Sperm ownership has nothing to do with women's right to get an abortion....it has nothing to do with abortion.
Who is saying, "get rid of (someone or something) as no longer useful or desirable". If the guy feels it's no longer useful or desirable, then he discarded it, otherwise, he didn't discard it. Is discarding sperm an assumption?
OK, so you don't really want to discuss sperm just speak against abortion....then why didn't you just say so. No one aborts sperm, men don't have abortions....didn't you know that ? Now, could you get on topic and make a statement why you think women having the right to their own bodies is silly?
I can reply to arguements, I can't to statements. If people make a statement, then they need to explain and expand it. Many comments need further explanation for constructive debate. Abortions and sperm are not silly. It's only silly if you're not responsible. Whether I ejaculate, cut a toe off or an ear, they all belong to me. If people feel they're discarded, then why do people expect compensation when a hair is found in the soup? In this crazy age, because people identify with loads of genders, I don't know who's giving birth to what.

You couldn't refute one word of the post of mine you quoted. I didn't say abortions and sperm are silly , I said , ""make a statement why you think women having the right to their own bodies is silly? LOL! THAT rambling diatribe was "constructive debate" ??? You actually don't know what sex gives birth!!!! Wow...and you want to debate abortion !!??? Maybe you'd better find out ...
Ironic failure of legal logic on your part duly noted! People are NOT possessions unless you want to bring back slavery. Those OPPOSED to women's reproductive rights do appear to want to enslave pregnant women to bear their offspring so that is probably where the confusion stems from.
Analogy time again.....does a kidney donor have a say in the health choices of the recipient? Can he ask for his kidney back?
If she pulls the condom out of the trash and uses a turkey baster, should he still have 20+ years of child support?
If you are contending that it isn't part of her body it is up to you to show that a fetus does not have to be inside a woman to grow. IF it's not part of her body then she has every right to take it out. If it's not part of her body it should be able to sit on a shelf and grow..
