Is anyone feeling nostalgic for the obama economy yet? Does anyone long to have the "boot of government" back on the "neck of business"? Do you long for the days when industry returning to America seemed like something that would need a "magic wand" to accomplish? Do you miss the days of stimuluses and bailouts? Isn't anyone "too big to fail" anymore? When's the last time we had to pass a law to know what was in it? Does anyone miss the old days, the obama phones, beer summits and race riots? Have you have enough winning? Are you ready to go back to the obama economy?

Do you hate President Trump? Do you hate him enough to cut off your own nose to spite his face? Do you hate him enough to go back to the obama economy? If so, you're in luck. Just move to LA or San Francisco. That way, you can lose the election and still enjoy the obama economy. BTW, pack a tent.

Dude - by every measurable metric the Obama economy was a fairly decent economy. Unemployment dropped from 9% to about 4.5%. The stock market averaged a 12% per year return. Housing prices rose over 25% in many markets. Most people had good growth in their retirement accounts. GDP was positive for a near record number of consecutive quarters.

Trump hasn't had a single year over 3% GDP growth and it's very possible will end his first term in a recession.

Now I'm not claiming Obama was a great President - but if you go by pure economic numbers, he wasn't bad.

Now is probably not a good time to bring up the economy. One thing I know is I never lost this much in my 401K during Obama admin.

Double digit unemployment? Boat loads of taxes? Wage stagnation? Wall Street getting richer, while Main Street suffers? I think not.

LOL! Wasn't that particularly bad timing of the OP to start the thread?

Also, he said "Do you miss the days of stimuluses and bailouts?". Bailouts and stimuli(uses), here we come.

we didnd't have double digit UE until a few years in the Obama economy. I give you the benefit of the doubt though, Obama was stuck with two years of a Dem Congress prior to taking office, so that didn't help. Trump and Bush luckly weren't.

and the economy isn't failing at the moment...we have a strong economy...it's a little dip because of the virus...not because of policies...that's what happened during the Obama years.

if Trump wants to claim the credit when it's up, then he gets the credit when it's down

This country would have done all that without a president! Claiming large improvement from a point where everything was in the crapper is just spin, everything had no other place to go but up.. Mr. Obatard did nothing but make lenders mega rich and subsidized those that didn't RETURN to their jobs until they finally exhausted UE extensions and then were classified with the fully employed number..

It's going to be more than a "little dip" ... already is. Goldman-Sachs is predicting negative GDP numbers for the next two quarters. Obama handed Trump seven straight years of positive economic growth.

Untrue! The unemployment rate hit >10% briefly before the end of 2009, then it declined:

Of course, we know that the Obama haters are really good at revising history. Your post is a blatant example of it.

Having been handed the Bush recession, Obama presided over the 7+ years of the economic growth he bequeathed to the Trump who has now overseen its devastating demise.

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Fake Don signing his yooj stimulus package into law may be his emulative attempt to attain the 60% approval Obama was accorded at the end of his eight year tenure.

    Fat chance.

And the Chinese handed the world a COVIS-19. So what? You're simply not going to be even remotely accurate about any of this?

There was no world wide pandemic during the Obama administration - - not that Obama didn't TRY to make that happen with his incompetent handling of H1N1 and then the Ebola issue. Of course it helps that during Obama's reign the MSM was all about "Problems? We don't see no stinkin' problems as opposed to now when they are essentially shrieking non-stop . . . 'We are all gonna die!'

Sure, Obama was just lucky with everything. Oh, you forgot, he actually inherited the greatest recession since the great depression. That wasn't bad luck at all? But, other than that, no crises at all under Obama. LOL! Another revisionist Obama hater post.
