No, what any normal person wants is good healthcare. "Coverage" always begs the question: coverage for what and when?

“But they were told by every dentist they contacted there was a two year delay in registering, so they chose to yank out their rotten teeth on their own.
Rebecca said: “We've been trying for four years but no dentist will take us on.
“Every time I go, I get told there's a two-year waiting list for NHS patients.

“It's got so bad that after taking a combination of paracetamol and alcohol I ripped my half-rotten teeth out.
Rebecca Brearey and Nick Oldroyd who were forced to perform DIY surgery on their teeth after knocking back some stiff drinks as an anaesthetic

“The state of my teeth has made me depressed and I've literally begged to be taken on by an NHS dentist, but every time I've been turned away.”
Mr Oldroyd explained how the agony of his teeth stopped him from sleeping.

He said: “I was drinking to just try and numb the pain so one night I just pulled it out.
“The tops of my teeth are gone.

Rebecca said the state of her teeth has made her depressed
“I'm on benefits and trying to get a job, and when someone sees my teeth they just think I'm another waster.
“I do believe if I could get some dental care I might be able to begin turning my life around.”

NHS didn't even cover the pliers, glue and whisky.

Good example of the difference between coverage and care. All people under socialized medicine are covered but due to budgetary rationing many do not receive care.

I thought that you were saying that your plan is the same as Bernie's.

It costs enough that people find they can't use our system.

Our system is NOT INTERESTED in providing health care for all.

But what about contract workers, people laid off, Two parent households where the insurance provider lost his job. You make 50,000 in the first ten months this year and get laid off, there is no medicaid for you

Well it is closer to Bernies than any other provided by Obama, or the The repub one that was bandied about. I am not no ideologue, I think for myself. Bernie's plan is similar to what Canada and Australia have, everyone is covered, but if you have money and can afford supplemental private insurance great.

That makees as much sense as suggesting our system provides a trip to the moon for ALL, because everyone can contract SpaceX to build them a rocketship.

International healthcare system comparative analysis shows that our distribution of healthcare is worse than that of pretty much every other industrialized nation.

The right wing message is that health (even including life) is a commerciial producct that those with money can choose to buy if they happen to be able to afford it.

Why should I have to pay for you if I have money to pay for myself?

    Do you vacation?
    Do you eat out?
So you have a nice smart phone with data plan?
    Computer?
Do you have cable or satellite tv?
Do you attend music or sporting events?
    Do you consume alcohol? Smoke?
Do you have luxuries that 2/3 of the people on the planet couldn't dream of?

Why should I be responsible for you?

It’s really very simple; most of the nations in Europe accept that healthcare for all their citizen’s is a right from cradle to grave. And the last time I looked none of them had a communist Government.
If you prefer to mortgage you’re home on a heart bypass then be my guest.

You can talk to your mayor or state governor and ask that question. You pay city and state taxes for all kinds of things, so why not health care?

Ask a lefty and they'll tell you they just don't care about you. You'll just have to lump it because they are only interested in doing it unconstitutionally via the federal government.

Yea, that is a problem, why they do not accept money?
Is not that something in the best of the world Health Care system broken?
If doctors are retiring without replacement, does not it mean that system is not for everyone?
Did not you just confirmed the fact of artificial shortage?

I am not sure what you mean, but health care is something that can be paid from taxes, because people cannot get health care without government's approval.
The same way you can't get around the city by building your own roads, you can't get a health care on your own.

It is not a good comparison
The health care is managed by the Federal government by delegating the work to private organizations (medical cartel).
    https://fee.org/articles/the-medical-cartel-is-keeping-health-care-costs-high/
Also 99% of health care providers are licensed by the US Congress.
That essentially means that I can't ask my governor or mayor about health care.

That is an outright lie. People have choices to go to the private doctor.

Yeah well, then I guess you're flat out of luck.

Maybe in another decade or twenty. You're not going to see any national stuff happening in a long long time thanks to the horror that used to be known as obamacare. They really screwed the pooch on that one.

I think your vision is totally distorted. People actually like Obamacare, they sometimes do not realize that ACA is protecting them from being unable to get insurance with preexisting conditions.
Eventually every crazy republican who does not support access to health care will be kicked out of office.

Of course there are people who like getting free stuff. Lots more don't like paying for that free stuff, which you obviously don't want to take into account, or you would have done so.

Sorry boss, but obamacare ain't coming back, and whenever a democrat opens their gob to talk about how they have a newer idea that might actually work, nobody with two brain cells to rub together will believe them, except the parasites who might take advantage of another government freebie. The majority that have to pay for it need to start investing in tar and feathers, just in case another democrat decides to go full **** again.

Best to have an emergency fund when emergencies occur. There were times when my family was between insurances. We got by. If we had had an urgency to have insurance, we would have made sure we had the ability to maintain it, as we do now.

Yes, no one in their right mind would take what that rag spouts is the truth; it is similar to believing Hollywood’s as a portrayer of authentic history.
