I know who will be guilty the next time....Rep. Neil Combee.

"Florida bill would broaden 'stand your ground'
February 27, 2013|By Rene Stutzman, Orlando Sentinel

A Polk County legislator who once fired a warning shot to scare away burglars has introduced a bill in the Florida House that would expand the state's "stand your ground" law.

It would grant immunity to people who fire a warning shot and to those who pull a weapon, hoping the sight of it would frighten away an attacker. Both are currently illegal."

It's crystal clear to everyone that Trayvon Martin alone is at fault. Zimmerman was just on a routine patrol doing his job. He saw Trayvon suspiciously strutting and jiving along a sidewalk in a gated and predominantly white neighborhood. Zimmerman politely asked: "Sir, may I help you? May I help you find an address in the neighborhood?"

Mr. Martin, wearing a chip on his shoulder, instantly became hostile, threatening and belligerent. Mr. Martin went into attack mode, yelled racial slurs, beat Zimmerman to the concrete sidewalk, and tried to take his gun. In the struggle, Mr. Martin inadvertently pushed the trigger and shot himself in the chest.

    That is all.

....and when did I write that? It's easy to comment with 20/20 hindsight long after the event.
