Can you pm me a full and detailed explanation, providing dates, times and names by sunday evening. thanks.
You must fight Radical Islamism or they will kill you. As for me I am part Cherokee and my people has face some of the same thing Israel is going through. Unlike Israel, a lot of my people are in prison on a reservation and have no means to defend our self. When your people are the target of racism and bigotry with a desire to kill you, you get to see things through a different eye than those who have no sympathy for you or are just blissfully ignorant of what it is like to be hated. That's why I am so gung ho for Israel. Despite their military might, they are the real underdogs here, and Jews have been the target of racism and bigotry for centuries, possibly long before the advent of Christianity.
I'll be all too happy to provide you some of the details you request, friend J0NAH. Provided I believe that you are sincere in your desire for elucidation. Just to clarify though, a general description of how the US meets with delegates from other nations, and even the general nature of FMS Program Management Reviews, is appropriate fodder for conversation. This IS your nation and your government we are talking about, though none of your hard-earned tax dollars go toward the conduct of those meetings. (The salaries of US personnel engaging in Foreign Military Sales case management are completely funded by the foreign dollars, NOT by any sort of pot of US government funds.) Describing the 'times' of the meetings and providing the names of the foreign delegates is out of the question, though I suspect you knew that. I also suspect that you were just being a smart-ass. The details I offered yesterday were more of the nature of Foreign Military Sales. The general polices, laws, and agreements that exist between the US and our allies. Most laypersons have no idea what FMS is, or how it differs from Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), or even how much of it that allied nations are engaged in. Here, just for starters, here is the DSCA webpage where you can review Congressional notifications of such activities. It is public knowledge, as it should be. http://www.dsca.mil/major-arms-sales - - - Updated - - - Margo2, I am delighted that your experiences with the Saudis were positive, and that you enjoyed your time living among them. I also willingly defer to your experience in that regard; You lived there for twenty years, and I only spent six months there and later on, spent a mere three or four years working with the Saudis (and representatives from many other nations) here in the US. Perhaps it was just unfortunate circumstance, and perhaps the chemistry between my small group of US case managers and the gentlemen who represented their side of the program. Such is life, and such is the nature of human intercourse. But the fact remains, these guys were genuinely rude and disrespectful. I witnessed no such similar animosities from any of the other Arab gentlemen I worked with during that same time. The Emirates were fantastic, as were the fellows I met from Egypt. Re; the large number of Americans living and working in the Middle East. Yes, we do have a large number of men and women (mostly men though) living and working in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, and Iraq. I myself have turned-down a few job offers to go live and work there. The salaries offered me were handsome, but the truth is, I would rather work inside the borders of the US. I feel much safer here, and I have no desire to live on an American compound in some other (admittedly hot, dusty) nation.
PS. During the first Gulf War, I met quite a few humble Saudi store owners, shopkeepers, and even wandering Bedouins. All were wonderful people. Especially the Bedouins. On an unrelated note, I am happy to report that, during my many years living in Europe, I got along very well with Germans, Italians, Frenchmen, Spanish school teachers, West Berliners, East Berliners, Austrians, and Belgians. Additionally, in all my travels across the border into both Ciudad Acuña and Juarez, I had no negative encounters with Mexicans either.
Large numbers of Americans have families in KSA especially after the first contract... Many of us are third generation Americans living and working in KSA.
To each their own. I lived and worked on Oahu for three and a half years, and would gladly live and work there now, if the cost of living weren't so high. I have friends who I served with there who report that they would NEVER go back there, not even on a dare. (In their opinion, it's too far away from Aunt Betty and Uncle Fred in Ohio, and it's impossible to travel home for holidays without spending huge dollars on airfare.) If I ever WERE to take a job in the Middle East, it would probably be to UAE. I genuinely liked working with those guys. None of them were ever rude or disrespectful to myself or my teammates.
There is no question that single men serving in the military in KSA have a hard tour.. We used to have them out for dinner with the family and they were very appreciative.
We are pro-Israel because we are pro-democracy. And in that region, Israel is the only Democracy surround by Islamo-Fascists that want to destroy it. How can we NOT be pro-Israel;.
Let's see: Bent on dominating the world, hate the Jews, oppressive.. ...Islamo-Fascists, Nazi Fascists... ..I see no difference.
Americans are pro-Israel because they have never heard a Jewish fairy tale that they won't believe in. That's why they believe in a Jewish zombie as their deity. It's really a mental illness.
Islamofascism From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Excerpts: "The term Islamofascism is a neologism based on clerical fascism which draws an analogy between the ideological characteristics of specific Islamist movements and a broad range of European fascist movements of the early 20th century, neofascist movements, or totalitarianism. In particular, this term relates the widely accepted pathogenicity of fascist belief systems to current radical Islamic belief systems" " The term "Islamofascism" is included in the New Oxford American Dictionary, which defines it as "a controversial term equating some modern Islamic movements with the European fascist movements of the early twentieth century". The term is used in this manner by writers like Stephen Schwartz and Christopher Hitchens, to describe Islamist extremists, including terrorist groups such as al Qaeda, Hamas and Hezbollah. William Safire makes particular note of Hitchens as a "popularizer" of the word, though Hitchens declined credit for coining it and preferred the phrase "fascism with an Islamic face" as a reference to both Alexander Dubček and Susan Sontag. The terms Islamic fascism and Muslim fascism are also used by the French philosopher Michel Onfray, an outspoken atheist and antireligionist, who notes in his Atheist Manifesto that Ruhollah Khomeini's Islamic Revolution "gave birth to an authentic Muslim fascism"" "The most obvious points of comparison would be these: Both movements are based on a cult of murderous violence that exalts death and destruction and despises the life of the mind. ("Death to the intellect! Long live death!" as Gen. Francisco Franco's sidekick Gonzalo Queipo de Llano so pithily phrased it.) Both are hostile to modernity (except when it comes to the pursuit of weapons), and both are bitterly nostalgic for past empires and lost glories. Both are obsessed with real and imagined "humiliations" and thirsty for revenge. Both are chronically infected with the toxin of anti-Jewish paranoia (interestingly, also, with its milder cousin, anti-Freemason paranoia). Both are inclined to leader worship and to the exclusive stress on the power of one great book. Both have a strong commitment to sexual repression—especially to the repression of any sexual "deviance"—and to its counterparts the subordination of the female and contempt for the feminine. Both despise art and literature as symptoms of degeneracy and decadence; both burn books and destroy museums and treasures (Hitchens, Christopher: Defending Islamofascism: It's a valid term. Here's why, Slate, 2007-10-22) "
Here is why; everything this man says is true:
Netanyahu is an enemy of Israel and gets people killed, but then he's all about maintaining his power with zero long term vision ... Shame. The Israelis should throw him into the sea.
No.. Bibi has completely ignored the demographic bomb.. He's myopic with regard to Israel's future.. Israelis with money have moved their money and applied for residency in other countries.. If this bloodshed continues, Israel will be left with the ultra Orthodox who won't work and won't serve in the military. There are many small successful, prosperous countries that aren't on the dole or at war with all the neighbors. Israelis are smart people.. they need to figure this out.
They have. Hamas sole purpose is to destroy Israel. It is their stated goal and as soon as people realize the truth and keep supporting Hamas, then they too become supporters of terrorists.
I'm with you. I couldn't care less about either side. I just wish one side would finally kill off the other already or both sides just (*)(*)(*)(*) with their bull(*)(*)(*)(*) whinings, so we can stop sending Israel so much money.
