Why are Republicans doing this?

It's not just that he has an 'awful personality'. It's that he is a true demagogue, and demagogues are always a threat to national security.

 

That is an opinion. I will stick with bad personality. That, at least, is a fact. Good agenda, bad personality. Perhaps we will get DeSanitis who also has a good agenda and a better personality.

 

A sore loser is a sore loser. After their team loses a football game, you have to listen to them whine about 'unfair' referees, etc. Its weak, but its aa good question. I mean, - what happened to these people?

 

Trump is a demagogue, hands down, no ifs, buts, excuses, he is a demagogue.

1. He galvanized a population and pandered to their biases in order to control them.
2. His followers will follow him because of HIM, it doesn't matter what his policies are, they will follow him, which is the 'cult of personality'.
3. He has declared the press the enemy of the people.
4. He tried to get the DOJ to investigatte his percieved enemies.
5. He tried to get the IRS to audit his perceived enemies.
6. He lies incessantly, he has declared that his opponent cannot win unless they rig the election.
