    Frivolous. False. Disrespectful.

If you can write something more instructive than Proverbs or more lyrical and elegant than Psalms, show us.

It's not a justification for medicare for all or any other national bureaucracy. Not even your own man Biden thinks so (as to Medicare for all).

There is no justification for government of any kind for anarchists.

Medicare for all, or any kind of single payer health care, is like many of the things the Candidates are proposing. We can work on them once we rescue our country from those who are trying to destroy its basic institutions.

Everyone who has a family has an extended family. We choose to stay together and support eachother, or not. If people choose not to, then they must be doing so on the basis of not ever needing family for mutual assistance. In which case, they have no cause to complain.

Meantime, why would family need to replace medicare? Medicare (in my country) is for every citizen, regardless of their economic circumstances. Further, family are not meant to pay for things .. they are meant to provide the non-monetary resources so that you don't have to pay for things. Things like housing, child-care, home maintainence, etc. And of course, you provide the same to them in return.

Sanders is an idiot. The model we have (as does Canada et al) is the only one which will work in America.

What a load of absolute bunk.

People CHOOSE what they eat. And yes, you can get cheap, healthy food anywhere in the First World. If a poor person in a remote rural area buys rice and beans in bulk once a month - and being rural is able to grow their own vegetables, obviously - then they'll spend far less than the fatso up the road who buys nothing but meat and cheese. And they'll live 30 years longer.

And people with no access to public transport can CHOOSE to exercise, since they're not walking to and from the train station every day.

I can't believe people blame Govt for their own greediness and laziness. UN-****ING-BELIEVABLE.

And there are invisible Exercise Police hovering about to ensure you don't even think about trying an early morning brisk walk before work, or an afternoon workout in the garage, or a daily swim, or cycle, or thrice weekly line dance meet, yes?

Choosing the path of least resistance is basic psychology. The average human will not hunt for what is provided. The US subsidizes the foods that create illness and prescribes meds where exercize is needed.

That's a different (though real) area of 'blame'. Further, our Govt doesn't subsidise foods or provide 'food stamps' etc, so can't be used as an excuse. It's 100% choice, here. And yes, we also have far too many fat people.

I don't want to live in a society that allows people to starve to death or live under a bridge. I certainly support programs to help those less fortunate. The problem here is that we feed our poor with cheeseburgers and sweetened beverages. People on the average American diet are unlikely to exercise.

That leads me back to the path of least resistance. If growing fat cost everyone but you, you grow fatter. If growing fat requires paying more for healthcare, you will see people putting the fork down and exercising.

We can not solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them.” —Albert Einstein

    Government is not the solution.

I agree that Govt is not the solution, personal responsibility is. But it's a catch 22 situation .. the Govt 'help' needed to feed the genuine, reduces personal responsibility in the lazy, meaning more Govt help is needed.

Perhaps limiting subsidies to healthy food will help. It was proposed, but Pespi Co lobbied against it. The food and drug industries are extremely powerful.

Well, yea, but public transportation saves people's time make them walk more and more frequently, that is beneficial to the health of the nation.

Food in US is sh..t, except may be Whole Foods. 90% of restaurants serve hamburgers and sandwiches. Only if you live in the big city you can get something decent, otherwise you are doomed.

Personal responsibility is only viable if you are educated, otherwise you have rely on the government.

Uh...that was sort of my question. The pubs are preparing to cut Medicare and it has always been one of the their major wet dreams to end it entirely , along with Social Security

And there is no limit to government of every kind for liberals.

I think leisure time and entertainment are important to happiness. Should government subsidies that too?

Come on folks. Can we see a little support for liberty?

Funny. Do you actually know anyone who lives in the country? They grow a lot of their own food and eat better than city dwellers.

US is divided because Donald Trump has made it so by obnoxious insulting behavior and criminal activity as POTUS.

An old lady is currently kicking Trump's anus and he is in a dead-end rabbit-hole whimpering and reaching for his suicide vest.

I know at least one person who lives in the country. I am one. We shop at supermarkets just like anyone else. Your stereotype that we're all farmers shows just how out of touch with true rural life you actually are

I didn't say they all do. And I didnt say they were all "farmers." Anyway if you go to the supermarket you're not eating fast food.

If Obama had conducted a racial war he would have won and the GOP would now be complaining about Black supremacy groups being predominant in society.
