Why aren't feminists complaining that there aren't enough female garbage collectors

Perceived “dirtiness” is one of the reasons, though it’ll be a reason a lot of men don’t want to go in to those industries too. It isn’t the only reasons and, especially in the modern era, the common perception of a lot of industries is simplistic and flawed. At no point have I denied any of these facts though and your repeated attempt to shift the topic is just evasion.

You’ve not yet established that “feminists” don’t want more women working as garbage collectors. I showed you a link referencing a women I’m sure you’d consider “feminist” actively working to encourage more women to work in that industry. The assumption your OP was based on is demonstrably wrong.

More and more women are being paid the same and it didn’t happen in a vacuum. The Ledbetter Bill made it easier for women to find out what their male counterparts were earning.

I don’t know if you have children but do you encourage them to be garbage collectors? Do you fight for them to do disgusting dangerous jobs? Why not? I don’t want to work as a garbage collector and I don’t want my daughter to work as a garbage collector . As an equalitarian I believe inequalities are wrong when those inequalities are the result of discrimination, regardless of race and gender.

As an equalitarian, I do not believe inequalities are wrong when those inequalities are the result of something other than discrimination, like, say, choice as in the wage gap, or biology, such as say, men typically being stronger than women and therefore more capable of doing physically demanding jobs.

However...………..however, all men are not always stronger than all women. Therefore as an equalitarian, I believe everyone should be judged based on their merit and their race and/or gender should not even matter

Women have been paid the same as men, in the same jobs - working the same hours, for years. Women have been able to get credit in their own names for decades.

 

Let's not forget that feminism was actually needed late last century. Now that those inequities have been corrected, feminism today is an INequality movement. They have nothing to fight, so they've reinstalled inequity.

 

It's almost as if they need something to push against, to feel they have value, instead of realizing that the continued unnecessary pushing now irritates others to no end purpose.

 

Broken down, it's almost certainly due to their fundamental hatred of equality. Like all Progressives, they despise anything which will measure humanity fairly. They absolutely need a hierarchy, in order to continue to fund and protect the indolence and apathy they want continued access to.

Despite earning more degrees than men at every level of post secondary education from AA degrees to PhD's women are CHOOSING not to major in subjects that result in them being qualified for the lucrative careers men tend to be qualified for because of what they chose to study at university and this is men's fault???
