    Hogg is getting some real bad advice from amatuers because I don't think any liberal with some smarts would give him his 5 point platform knowing how easily it would be to pick apart. With that said, is it any wonder he only goes on friendly news shows and, as far as I know, hasn't debated anyone with a different view.

    This kid is a pawn, he thinks he's important, he likes the limelight, but he won't take anyone on face to face. As a parent I have no idea why this kid's FBI father is letting him continue to look like a foolish and ignorant kid. His father must know the kid is being used. Also, if right wingers are as dangerous as the left likes to portray them as, and if guns make it so easy to kill people and are favored by right wingers when they kill people, then why make yourself a target for them? It's probably because some leftists don't actually believe what they say, they just repeat what they're told to say.

    Seems pretty uninstrusive and sensible to me. Is he asking for guns to be banned? No.. republican talking point dessimated again.

    Here's the funny thing:

    Even if every single one of those items on his list were already in place, it wouldn't have stopped the Parkland shooter.

    Steve I give the kid credit for at least attempting ameliorate the overall situation instead of sitting there and praying for the dead souls which is what most people are being encouraged to do.

    Your solution in this thread appears to be one of throwing up your hands in despair claiming nothing will work, so we may as well leave things the way they are. It's attitudes like that which are part of the problem and not the solution. Someday this is going to come back and hit the conservative gun owners in this country like a dead fish slammed into their faces.

    Even if we had a law making it illegal to shoot people, it wouldn't have stopped the Parkland shooter. Just sayin'....

    funny how much you lefties want to ignore the gun violence in your own black yard that happens every weekend, but give so much attention to the one or two mass shootings a year at white schools.
