Though I may not be Liberal I must say as a white person that some of the nastiest folks in this country are white.

Dear @Super21: Speaking from an American perspective,
most of the perception of oppression comes from
    * people who don't align or identify with Christian culture, leadership and influence
    (blamed on White dominance)
    * people who don't align or identify with Constitutional traditions and power structure
    (blamed on White dominance)
    * people who don't align or identify with Capitalist or corporate ownership and structure
    (blamed on White dominance)

    1. With people who feel "left out" of the Christian/Constitutional loop, it appears to them that all of history, govt and social structures were setup by these "white Christian property owners" and so other groups can never be equal as long as the "white privileged" hold a tradition and history of power, passed down from previous generations, while others are left out of this loop.

    2. Within minority groups, there are conservatives, business entrepreneurs or Christians/Constitutionalists who CAN fit in, invoke equal authority, and feel equally empowered with the given structures. So these systems DO accommodate minorities such as conservative Latinos and Blacks, and especially Asians who focus resources investing in their own family business and communities.

Unfortunately, the epidemic exploitation of poor minorities for trafficking of drugs and sex for fast profit, has created such a visible "genocide" of poverty classes, this disparity is blamed on 'corporate interests' in general instead of going after the individual criminals responsible for genocide. So it's easier to blame "white corporate power" as a collective class, in order to explain these problems simply.

    3. The biggest factor in perceiving Whites as unfairly dominant is from the unequal capacity for invoking either church authority through Christian law or political authority through Constitutional law. With White Conservatives who have BOTH authorities and ability to invoke these en masse, they appear unjustly entitled and privileged, compared to masses of people not taught or experienced to invoke the same laws and authorities.

This can be taught, but it is hard when the racial stereotypes are that White leaders biased these laws and structures in their favor as the founding property owners, and the other minority groups can never be equal.

Instead, as economist Hernando de Soto also emphasized, equal empowerment should be based on allowing ownership to the workers. Both Sanders and the Greens who believe in worker owned co-ops, and even Sean Hannity and other Conservatives pushing health care co-ops might agree on local ownership as the key to equal empowerment.

But as long as groups fight over race or political party, this distracts from the real factor of ownership to stop oppression and class conflict. The Socialists also know this, but the politics in the media keep these groups divided, instead of uniting on common solutions.

    I appreciate your thoughtful post.

What do you mean by oppression and class conflict? Please explain this further.

I agree the media divides us. Its frustrating that we cant discuss the problems of this country.

Though the media in general adds to the problems, it seems to me it does so by doing what it is supposed to do and reporting the news. Though there are obviously partisan channels and papers, the majority of these problems come from a combination of who the population believes and the actual news being almost completely negative for Trump leaving him no choice but to begin a campaign of "Fake News" to survive. This has been amazingly successful and self perpetuates powerfully, resulting in what can only be termed propaganda.

"White" literally means nothing at all. The way White-Nationalism uses this term is no different from that of how The Left uses the term "human" - it derrives from utilitarian egalitarianism and is thus to be despised by any person who claims to be on the right.

Nationalism is, in short, about letting each and every nation to exist in peace and be what it is; Americans ought to be Americans and Canadians ought to be Canadians. When "race unity" is put under the spotlight, the ideology ceases to be nationalistic and becomes internationalism ("proles of the world, unite!")

Obsessing with race is a pathologic condition and a highly counterproductive strategy. Tribe, ethnicity and tradition is what Nationalism is about. Race-politics are non-organic and conformistic. Territorial- and ethnic- integrity should be in focus. White-Nationalists proceeds from falseful presumptions that invert the real meaning of 'Nationalism'.

White Nationalism is egalitarian and by that not only left-wing in its core, but even irrationally naive and fundamentally feminine as such.

I am not a big fan of Nationalism, but I understand where they come from, how they think and where they stand. White Nationalism, however, I have huge problems with because it is immensely ret**ded.

There is nothing wrong with being any race, what many leftist believe is that excluding races is wrong.

I'm unsure about that, but without doubt the best are most likely to be white.

Why do tge same patterns of behavior follow races around the world?

Where does equality and the concept of equality exist outside the white West?

    Some Leninist garbage dump, perhaps?

Intentional or not this is a perfect example of the White Nationalism/White Supremacy propaganda that relies on ignorance. The concept of equality not only exists outside of Western culture but also exists in practice outside of Western culture.

In Buddhism the Lotus Sutra teaches the equality of all people and to discriminate against others is to discriminate against one's self.

Anthropologists have studied what they call the ‘egalitarian societies’ of the Hadza of Tanzania, the Mbuti of Zaire, the !Kung Bushmen of Botswana and Namibia, and the Batek Negritos of Malaysia. There are no clear inequalities of wealth, power or status among them; moreover, they are not ‘egalitarian’ merely by default, but consciously stress the value of equality and actively practise it.

The founders of America were intellectuals that knew and understood equality, and that cultures based upon equality did exist, and their inclusion of equality as a foundation for our government was not because Western civilization's culture of equality or it's practice of equality but instead because equality did not exist in Western civilization. It was the White Anglo Saxon Protestant Male Supremacy that existed in America that lead the founders of the United States to put forward an ideology based upon the equality of all people.

The Founders rejected White Nationalism/White (WASP Male) Supremacy from the very beginning by establishing equality as one of The First Principles upon which our government was founded.:

    • The rule of law is a First Principle that mandates that the law governs everyone
    • The First Principle of unalienable rights recognizes that everyone is naturally endowed by their Creator with certain rights
    • Equality is a First Principle that recognizes that all persons are created equal
    • The First Principle of the Social Compact recognizes that governments are instituted by the people and derive their just powers from the consent of the governed
    • The First Principle of limited government means that the protection of unalienable rights is the legitimate purpose and limit of government requires the government to be strong enough to fulfill its purpose yet limited to that purpose
    http://www.americassurvivalguide.com/americas-first-principles.php

There is, of course, a difference between establishing the ideology of the nation and actually transforming the nation to fulfill that ideology. The founders knew that they couldn't change the people to fulfill the ideology in their lifetime and instead left that ideology as a goal for future generations to attain.

The White Nationalists/White (WASP Male) Supremacists of America have always been the greatest enemy of the American ideology and remain so today. The White Nationalists/White (WASP Male) Supremacists exemplify what America shouldn't be as opposed to what America should be.

The propaganda of the Neo-Nazi White Nationalist/White Supremacists is not difficult to expose as being nothing but lies based upon half-truths by knowledgeable people but the propaganda is successful on those that fail to become knowledgeable.

I can see you don't know any actual liberals. Liberals idolize Western Europe which is 90%+ white. What liberals want is the acceptance of diversity not forcing diversity to happen. They believe in a more open immigration policy because liberals tend to have a more compassionate viewpoint towards the downtrodden.

Being okay with racial diversity does not equate to hating whites. This coming from a white ex-Republican.

I know, but you actually did give a good explanation.

    :applause:

However, I don't understand why liberals continue to believe in their lies when their arguments are all logical fallacies. I also don't know why liberals are so compassionate to foreigners yet not so to their fellow Americans.

There's nothing "wrong" with living in a homogeneous white country. But America isn't a homogeneous white country. By trying to make it a homogeneous white country, you're being anti-American. What makes America is that it is a nation of immigrants. You're trying to be erase that heritage, but it is fundamental to American identity. We are all immigrants. Even if your skin is white.

    Helping foreigners = helping Americans.
You think that deporting mexicans will help our economy? You think that if you deport all the people who pick fruit in the hot sun for $5 an hour, that they'll be replaced by white Americans for $15 / hour? You are delusional. Instead, either the fruit company will simply go out of business or they'll replace it with a machine. If the mexicans are deported, the jobs wont goto white people. Those jobs will simply disappear, businesses will close, and prices will increase. That makes us all worse off.

I can't believe you still don't understand the liberal point of view. Liberals believe in expanded government programs and most of that money goes to US citizens. I tend to side with conservatives on immigration. I want to deport the illegals, reduce legal immigration, make immigration more orientated to skilled immigrants, and greatly reduce immigration from places with bad cultures. We need to make college more affordable for the poor so that existing immigrants and minorities better integrate into society.

Actually no, liberal ideas like welfare, social security, universal healthcare, free college, and a living wage apply to poor whites too.

Its not about skin color. Its about culture. Even the most racist, bigoted folks have trouble hating a minority who shares their appreciation for the same music, food, cars, clothing and lifestyle. They become 'one of the good ones.' The intellectually immature and lazy stereotype skin colors and genetic heritages into cultural groups and project the individual into that group. True racism where people actually think other ethnicities are inferior or subhuman has all but died (long ago) in the US. What lingers (and always will) is a dislike for certain cultures by other cultures. What we should be focussing on is educating folks that skin color and culture have nothing to do with eachother beyond how we as a society segregate or integrate eachother. There will (and should) be cultural regions. Some cultures simply dont get along. Its no more wise to drive through Harlem in a muddin' truck with a cowboy hat blairing country music than its is to cruise a low-rider through certain parts of the south while bumping your subwoofers, for example. Those are two cultural extremes that often clash. But we can abolish the subconscious practice of associating a culture with a skin tone or a biological feature.
