Why do men have reputation for being unkind and selfish?

In modern world, any negative generalization or pejorative about men is acceptable.

Slightest generalization about women would bring firing and blacklisting.

 

Those convicted face very severe consequences.

Women who abuse children face virtually no consequences.

 

That is not what I said. In general, men do not use power to penalize those who fairly and unfairly criticize them:

Women in general do use the power they have to defend their reputation by severely penalizing anyone who says offensive things about them -- like Speech Codes at Universities.

Because obtaining conviction on he said/she said is difficult.

But women who are convicted of abusing children or partners generally face very mild consequences.

Men use their power all the time to punish those who don’t agree with them or who go against them in anyway.its called, business That’s what power is all about. They should get harsher consequences if what you are saying is true.

 

Because men use logic tempered with emotion to make decisions and it's the opposite with women.

Each is better in certain situations where the other is worse. They are meant to be complementary.

 

Of course because discrimination against men is so rampant. Those poor victims of sexism. I wonder how you would feel if the men in your office talked about your great ass. I wonder how you would feel if your male boss kissed you on the mouth. ... and you were powerless to do anything about it. There is a difference when one makes jokes about the oppressor than jokes about the oppressed.

 

Men almost never use their power to penalize those who slander and insult men as a class. For instance the worst male bashers face no consequences.

Men face much worse -- constant stream of man hating and male bashing jokes, advertisement. Men as a class also face very much negative generalization and hatred.

If any man talks about a female coworker in the way described, he will lose his job very quickly.

Sounds like you need a support group. Why don’t you start a movement since you seem to think men are such victims, I get the feeling that when a woman criticizes patriarchy you see her as bashing men. I guess when you see black people fighting for civil rights you see them as bashing white people

Yes all those blonde jokes are about men..yes and it’s always women making jokes about men’s bodies. And all those ads showing men half naked Men face so much sexual harassment against their wills. I really suggest you start a men’s support group because after all I am sure you are not the only victim of these horrible women who are taking over.
