Why Do Trump opponents treat him worse than Adolf Hitler?

My reply ignored the hitler references that both sides like to use, and addressed the hatred. On this forum, I see Trumps opposition emulate him on a regular bases. ChiCowboy, manages to stay on the friendly side most of the time.

Trump is an accurate reflection of the average American. Care to address that?

It's rare that I invoke Hitler, but if it's a serious discussion, I'll say a few things. Not that I'm an angel.

Hitler wasn't a liberal or a conservative. Or a socialist or a fascist. Hitler was a psychotic megalomaniac. That's all that needs to be said.

I already addressed the weird notion that Trump is like the average American. Average Americans don't inherit $400 million. The claim is preposterous.

I think it is valid to point to selective outrage. Women wore knitted vaginas on their heads for an offhand (and certainly vulgar) remark made by a man years before he ever even considered running for office which was in the end so much tilting at windmills... OTOH we had a sitting president abuse the power of his office by exploiting the power dynamic as correctly advanced by the feminist canon by lying about "consensual" sexual relations he swore he "did not have with that woman..." Crickets. Blasey-Ford is practically canonized over 35-yr-old foggy recollections without a single detail; Tara Reade is thrown under the bus by the same people who worshipped Blasey-Ford and she was able to give specific details of her assault... Etc., Etc..

 

How about Ted Cruz making a Maxine Waters style speech about Democrats saying "they're not welcome here." Many of whom would be persons of color.

Spite had nothing to do with the merits or lack of them regarding President Trump. I was aggravated that I had to stand in line more than two hours to vote. Especially since I knew it would make no difference. Arkansas was going to vote for Trump no matter what. .
