I am not trying to be a smart ass here, but most semi-auto pistols and rifles use magazines, not clips. My M-1 Garands use clips. I am also a mite confused about Georgia gun laws. When you say you are licensed to carry- concealed, open, or just able to have a weapon? I am also confused about this not shooting to kill but doing so to take out a knee cap. Years ago, and this may have changed now, telling a cop, judge, or jury you shot to kill or to take out a knee cap could get you some serious jail time in Texas. You can and should use enough deadly force to stop an attack. No more, no less. If the perp doesn't survive, that is his tough luck. If he retreats, you best not follow or shoot him. I'd like to take a minute and answer the original question. I own because I can and because the libs want them...either way, it'll be a tough row for them to plow.
I do not have any nasty, stinking guns of anykind. If a young gentleman, or gentlemen invade my home while I'm there, I'll cordially invite them to have milk and cookies and browse around and take whatever they want. I would not call the police or file an insurance claim, because I know they need my stuff more than me and my family does. It's the new norm and the Democratic way.
