Well, that's true--one person is no better than another. We are all of infinite worth and dignity as the image and likeness of God. However, I do believe the Sacraments make us better people that we were before receiving them. For example. I know that the Sacrament of Reconciliation has made me a better person. I also know the Eucharist nourishes my faith and makes me stronger and better. I've experienced it. But it doesn't elevate my worth as a human being. It does make me better, though.

I'd be Catholic to if it weren't for the schism (sorry if that's the type of (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) comment you're talking about). I think a lot of people are a certain religion because they are born that way, but I respect Catholicism. I can't say I respect it more than other religions because that's not very nice, but I can definitely see its validations. I think early Christianity is one of the most interesting periods/developments in human history.
