The short answer to all this spam is that the U.S. prevented Iran from becoming another Soviet puppet state, the direction it was heading with the Tudeh. As for the Shah being a 'dictator', so what, that's the only possible norm under Islamic 'cultures' and nothing to blame the U.S. for; it was certainly going to be a far worse dictatorship under the Tudehs and their Russian occupation. Hoorshid should be on his knees thanking America for saving his country from a far worse fate, instead of posting revisionist historical nonsense out of context. And, has anybody else noticed the Mullahs don't keep treaties or agreements, and are just a bunch of psychotic liars who will indeed ignore the nuclear treaty as well?
Iran is an evil state, crushing freedom at home and spreading terrorism around the world. Rationalizing their behavior is inexcusable.
