    I wish they'd spend that money on figuring out how to deflect an asteroid with Earth in its cross hairs or study what to do with the Sun sends a deadly solar flare.

    The only feasible way to get off this rock is to build a ship with manufacturing facilities, an AI that stays dormant until about 15 years from entering their solar system. Then the ship AI can activate, grow humans, and teach them about what they are about to do.

    Sending living humans into space and expecting a space craft guided by then the whole way to make it isn't going to happen except probably the far future.

    We need a habitable planet to liven things up otherwise space is nothing but barren rocks, gas, and dust.

    If there are extraterrestrials then they know about interstellar travel, showing it's possible. It has to do with wormholes and knowing how to bend space.

    it wouldn't matter even if they did find another planet..the best we can do by using anti matter and matter for fuel would be 1/10th the speed of light..it would take several generations to reach somewhere that might have a planet that we could survive on..sorry people but this is it..so better try harder and get it right on earth...quit liberalism would be a great start

    i have been hearing about global warming for over 50 years now..sea levels were tp rise 50 to 90 feet..never did...ice age coming..never did...temps to rise to over 100+ everyday..never did come true...i am tired of the false threats....quit the lying and put more effort into helping people live day to day...quit the stupid agenda...

    good science?..really?..calif just had an earthquake of 4.0 just a few days ago...so called scientist said that the fault line extends from alaska to calif and we can expect a huge major quake any time...with wave as high as 90 feet...the Hayward fault is only 70 miles or so long...they were talking about the wrong fault line..so these are your smart scientist that you rely on?...god help you...

    Where did you get the information? Was it a news channel (and Faux is not the only one with poor reporting) or was it a science or even a popular science journal?

    Send them to Europa - by the time they have vented all the hot air and crap the planetoid will be warmer, fertile and habitable (I would suggest Mars but there is too much hot air for there - they would overheat it) :p
