Well OF COURSE people can hate people who have the same sexuality as them! Just as people can hate people who have the same race as them! And YES, women can hate other women. Is that what you're getting at? If so, then I agree! Because they're a woman.
"Willing to carry a baby to term" doesn't sound to me like a women who is "FORCED into carrying a baby against her will." LOL. Well then. I guess I hate these type of pro-lifers more than you!
Your point is that women cannot be sexist against other women, right? And, you think the reason is they share the same gender. That part is what I'm contesting. Women can be sexist against other women.
Somewhere in my responses to this thread I wrote about girls/women being sent away to have their babies in secret. No, nobody held a gun to their head but they were still forced or manipulated or guilt-tripped to carry their babies to term. Sounds like it.
Yeah, you said this in response to me: That made sense in the context of abortion, but what does it have to do with this?:
The same ways that any kind of discrimination happens. Some examples: * I've met women who will not hire other women. * I've met women that would not consider the idea of voting for Hilary (solely because she's female). * I've met women who have abused and neglected their own daughter/s. * I've met a woman that aborted her baby because she was carrying a female. * Female children are basically discarded in some parts of the world. * I know a woman that dotes on her son but is allowing the sexual abuse of her daughters. Usually, people hate in others what they hate about themselves and they must push that part away to deny it within themselves. That's how discrimination works.
I was pointing out that times have changed to the point that some women are carrying their babies to term even without a father being around or involved. It was merely to point out that, in the past, having a child alone was not really done. Therefore, women were often forced to have their babies in secret or abort them.
In certain roles, or they literally have an all male workforce? So they think that men make better Presidents, big deal. I'll admit that this is sexist though, but in a VERY mild way. I would assume that these women wouldn't say that women shouldn't be in politics altogether. So they're bad mothers. Or did they treat their SONS well? So they preferred a baby boy. Yeah, because of the sexist culture. I wouldn't call these individual acts of sexism, but women can certainly live under a sexist/misogynistic system which influences their lives - just take much of the Islamic world. Damn. I would assume that it's only the daughter who is being abused though. If the piece of human waste abuser also abused the son, I have to believe that her 'doting' of the son would cease and that would allow that to. This is much more about domestic male dominance than anything else. Yeah sure, but what they "hate about themselves" isn't being a woman. Are you saying that it is? It can certainly be something which is inherently connected to being a woman.
Huh? You're making no sense. Abortion is a women's issue, is it not? Unless you believe men can have abortions too. Do you believe that???
Not specific to job requirements. The women were very influential as part of the HR teams they were on. They always rejected female applicants even if they were stronger candidates. Some of them believe that women only belong at home in the kitchen or making babies. I was shocked at how many women thought that way. Personally, I don't believe there is a "very mild" type of discrimination. I believe that people try to minimize or even dismiss it but it's not mild for the person being discriminated against. Yes, the women I'm thinking of treated their sons very well and their daughters like garbage. So, abortion is okay if someone doesn't get their "designer baby"? It doesn't matter WHY they behave that way. You asked me how women can be sexist against other women. Yes, there is a strong sexist/misogyistic system, but that doesn't excuse the women that help perpetrate it. See response above. What is the difference? It's early. My brain hurts already. ;-0
.] That simply isn't true...maybe when you get out in the real world you'll see that. That's like saying only whites can be racist... What in the hell is wrong with you ? THEY CAN.... A sexist is one who discriminates and stereotypes based on sex. BOTH men and women can be sexist....DUH
Yeah, as in, which abortion issue in my country are you referring to. Just in the highly unlikely case that you were referring to a specific issue, but that would require you to know things about Australia, which nobody does!
FoxHastings said: ↑ I did post "if you put some thought into it".....and clearly that wasn't done...I think you're just bored...somebody couldn't sleep last night and just had fun...
WHAT! OMG...just OMG... HILARIOUS!!! The Supreme Court did not manufacture the right to abortion.! OMG...just OMG...
You're taking it out of context. Women used to be forced to have abortions or sent away to have their babies in secret. Today, women sometimes elect or are left to be single mothers and aren't ostracized by the community.
