Obama care mandates all citizens purchase insurance and mandates individuals pay no more than approx. 6,000.00+ out of pocket including deductible and 13,000+ for families. According to doctors and hospitals a large per engage of insured people are u able to get the care they need because they can't afford their deductibles and/or out of pocket. Basically re deri g their coverage worthless as for most, they are forced to pay their premiums and the total cost of their care including hospitalization. And statistics show the number of er visits hasn't decreased as promised. And it is not over. More costly regulations go into effect in 2016. One that effects the middle class is higher penalty( or tax if you agree with the supreme court, which I don't)if u don't have insurance. Those that agree with Obama care are I'll I formed and have no personal knowledge of how the insurance system works. Obama care benefits only one group, and that is the insurance companies. Not the american people.

A critical thinker would note that you have provided zero documentation to back up your claims.

Statements like " according to doctors and hospitals" have no validity whatsoever without data.

Sorry, little data exists because the president and liberal media chooses not to provide it. It is my data from my own observations and comments made by my our patients, other physicians we interact with and hospitals we are on staff at. My data and knowledge is as good if not better than egg heads that dont deal with actual daily experiences on a daily basis Take it or leave it, I stand by my comments.
And if the government let's the 4 largest insurance companies merge, insurance coverage will have higher deductibles and out of pocket cost, rendering insurance non cost effective, virtually worthless.

People needing surgery or hospitalization can't afford it even though they are insured as they are forced to purchase high deductible insurance and insurance that only pays for routine physician visits, some drug prescriptions at 80% or less. These policies are a scam. Only the uneducated can't see this or understand what is going on. As of Jan 1 2015 the big reibursement cuts began and patients hospitals Clinics and home healthcare took big hits. Insurance companies the big winners. If the merger is allowed to go through it will get worse. I beg all to call their representatives and tell them to vote no to the merger.

So what would an appropriate legal out-of-pocket cap be? The ACA brought the legal limit down to the $6,000 range and some folks are saying that's still too high. But I haven't heard anyone actually suggest lowering the cap.

You either drop Cadillac insurance u want or emoplyer is paying for or pay the tax penalty. The tax not penalty as it was ruled by scouts.
