    You are conflating 'friendly, diplomatic' behaviour with 'obsequious and fawning' behavior, They are not the same.

    You cannot compare the obsequious, fawning behavior exhibited by Trump over KJU and Putin to FDR's diplomatic behavior over Stalin.

    FDR and Churchill had what might be characterized as an 'uneasy alliance' with Stalin which required they be friendly and diplomatic with each other because of their mutual enemy, Hitler, but that is the extent of it. You can't call it 'obsequious' or 'fawning'. Not in the slightest.

    they were not burning down a church, they were peacefully protesting and Trump had to have his bible photo op, so they had to tear gas the protestors

    How is "getting out of the way" of the petroleum industry going to work? They already only use 35% of the public land that they lease.

    The GOP is a threat to democracy. You remember January 6, 2021, and all of the sniveling cowards who quivered in fear after saying that they've "had it" with the Orange Failure.
