Why would Biden's stimulus cause inflation, but not Trump's?

^That is correct. I realized when Biden targeted energy, he was lighting a fuse. I said that when Biden screwed over Canada and say it again.

I will just say now, you are not interested in supporting claims you make here. I don't need more of the same from you.
Biden jacked up costs for energy. I do not see your posts addressing any of that. Demand for products is not likely to outpace supply unless supply has been hit by something.

Obama spent more. How many other presidents had a virus attack this country that still Biden has not taken care of?

We all knew Trump was working on the problem. Biden seems to say take the Trump vaccine.

Con job folks. Inflation is not caused by Trump. Spending is going up at an alarming rate provided the Biden plans are put into place. If he is stopped we can expect inflation to slow down pretty fast.

And you intend to prove it, correct? Did Obama ever have to spend 2.2 trillion more due to a virus?

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Congress and President Trump enacted the $2.2 trillion Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES) on March 18, 2020, which the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimated would be partially responsible for an increase of the budget deficit for fiscal year 2020 to a record $3.8 trillion, or 18.7% GDP.[5] The CBO preliminary estimate for the fiscal year 2020 deficit is $3.1 trillion or 15.2% GDP, the largest since 1945 relative to the size of the economy.[

You forgot Biden's OTHER $3.5 Trillion. Oh and tax cuts actually boosted revenue - Spending, as usual is the deficit booster.

We are only into the Biden year by 20 days now. So Biden's main contributions is to spending. Revenue is the same as for Trump.

The "other" $3.5 trillion have not even been signed yet. And, oh, they are going to be < $2 trillion and over 10 years, just like Trump's tax cut $1.5 trillion over 10 years. So, how can spending that hasn't even occurred yet cause inflation, not only in the US but worldwide? I realize, however, that actual economics arguments don't matter if crying "Biden bad" is the only item on the agenda.

Oh, btw, you didn't read my post above? If spending is the deficit booster, why does the GOP NEVER cut spending when they are in power?

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that correlation doesn't mean causation. I agree, however, that Trump economic policies don't require an economics course, just gut feeling.

Hang on - you provided the article of proof that there was no replacement put in place. I point out that - in that article - it states that the Deputy Secretary, the Chief of Staff and other officials are working on the issue - and you say that's BS? Why post the article?

I have never claimed that there aren't many (actually a lot) of GOP politicos that like spending, just not as heavily as the average Democrat. Mitch McConnell once quipped that you don't lose any votes by spending money. But this is orthogonal to the thrust of the thread which is inflationary impacts.
